100% his natural playing style has changed under Madge. People focus on the last few years.
Liddle was getting us excited about his potential because of his speed & darts out of dummy half not because he could make 30-40 tackles or pass the ball.

It's all about timing and using the natural instincts. Grant, Smith, Cook, Api and a few others still do it very well. They know when to target the A/B defenders at the ruck whilst having support plays ready to attack. The playing style for those guys hasn't changed since coming into grade. Step up is a component but coaching is a bigger impact just like halves & fullbacks.

If they are told to follow structured plays all the time rather than a coach use the strength of the players the players will follow what they are told and then won't use the instincts that got them into NRL in the 1st place which happens to alot of kids these days.

Liddle has gone backwards. I know he had to bulk up to prevent future injuries, but he lost skill and speed during the last big rehab.

Whichever club Shane Flanagan is at by end of next year I reckon is where he’ll end up or if Kyle Flanagan is still in the NRL he’ll try and put in a good word for him otherwise don’t think he’ll have much luck

I don't know his back ground extensively but pretty sure he comes from middle of nowhere somewhere in Australia.

Would of been a great story, didn't follow him in UK but think he did well for himself over there.

I’d never even heard of him back when I met him he was just a kid, I know he was staying in a house with a lady who billeted out of town kids regularly for the club. I knew he was from up north that’s about it, I didn’t really pay any attention to him after he left us under those circumstances tbh.

He was certainly a good find in terms of a talented footy player.

Sheens kept in touch with him in England so sheens certainly rated him.
