Will chuck the ep a listen, loving the pods so far fellas.

Imo rua aka mini cheese or The Wombat is the perfect bench hooker/lock, i think he will learn alot working with api next season.
 
With liddle injured I think we are in a bit of trouble with the hooking role.

Next year we will have a heap of hookers, unless someone finishes up with us and moves on for another opportunity.

Simpkin is promising but needs more time in cup. I think he maybe only lasted 10 minutes on Friday, then Rua was brought on.

First game back of course he is going to get gassed but to be playing round one after coming back from an injury could be a tough ask.

As a defender he can be a bit lazy, as an 'A' defender and at marker he was caught out a few times on the weekend and most memorably was against the rabbits when burgess went through to score the match winner.

It's a worry. Peachy isn't looking as fit as he was last year and to play him at hooker could be a bad move, you need the hooker to give good service and he hasn't shown that yet. Ball has gotta be thrown in front not behind the runner.

Rua would be a great one to come off the bench but untried at first grade might be a bit of an ask and really can't be played cause not in the top 30.

Throw a spanner in the works.

7. Madden
9. Brooks

Then have someone like Jake simpkin come off the bench.

Nothing like being negative , we were playing the storm guys , Garry we get it mate you dont like Simpkin , but how the hell can any of these blokes play long minutes if they are not given a go , settle down boys its round 1 we got pumped by the storm last time we played them

I like Simpkin a lot? I prefer him over Liddle.
 
I also think we played well the other night and deserved to win, as I said it is in the Storm DNA to win when they have been outplayed. This is a much better team than last year.

I can't recommend a best WT pod. There are a few and this is by far the most consistent, albeit lacking in guest spots from players and the club.

I like the Fifth and Last podcast for NRL...those blokes really know their stuff, although they have a pretty clear Penrith bias.
 
We are also considering broadcasting our pod we record on a Sunday night live on Wests Tigers Radio. This will allow us to build more interactive features into the show as we move forward. We are looking for feedback whether that is something people would be interested in.

I actually did a bit of looking an saw the Wests Life Podcast has a quite a decent range of guests regularly. I see from Garry Jack to Blue Wiggle and even players.

Hopefully they don't spend lots of time banging on about a podcast forum during the podcast while advertising the podcast forum....That's a drum circle I do not want to be part of.
