Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire has named his Round 2 squad for the match against the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Veteran prop James Tamou returns to the side for the first time in 2022 after missing the season opener against Melbourne due to a one-match suspension.

The lack of genuine edge forwards on the bench is a concern. I consider both Peachey and Seyfarth best positions lock and in any case Peachey is on the bench for his utility value.

I don’t think either Tuilagi or Leilua are genuine 80 minute players.

Offa can play 2nd row if desperate.

Understand but I didn't want Garner on the bench to be honest.

Would be so much better if we had Douhie at centre and Blore on the bench.

Can only hope that they play for the full 80 ...intense and mistake free....early days but each game they will get better,they need to communicate and support the ball carrier and defend fearlessly...
I did say they will need 6 games to show how they will go this year,barring injuries...they have 5 games to show me their worth...
