Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

we already knew we were after Nikora. this would essentially be the final pitch. if we've managed to convince him I'm sure we'll hear about it soon enough, but we all know how it goes. the longer it drags on the less chance we have.

not necessarily. Maybe in the past, but now that Pap is coming he knows he doesn't have to do it on his own. His manager is probably getting him out there, letting it play out a bit, so see if other offers come in, to maximise everyone's pay check. I think that that was Latrell's main sticking point - not wanting to be a lone gun. The more talent we get, the easier it is to sign more.

however, "it ain't necessarily so'🙁
At one time had Tedesco, Simona, Richards, Lawrence, Koroibete, Lui, Marshall, Farah, Woods, Fifita, Ellis etc. and we struggled to sign an "origin player".

this is true. I'm guessing we couldn't match the offer + TPAs that others could throw at them? Now we have the cash, we don't have the good team for them to be a part of. Guess that's why a team like the Roosters gets to stay on top 🙁
