How didn’t some see this coming?

I must say, imo the reason why there is so much hyperbole around this poor start is because it seems like a lot did not see this coming. Let’s go back to November-February, the hype was as ridiculous as I’d ever seen it on this forum, and for no real reason. No improvement was made to a roster that got rolled 38-0 in the final round by the wooden spooners. Yet there was so much anticipation that we’d have a great year. Sadly, I think think that anticipation is why so many feel hopeless in regards to our start. Because a lot did not see it coming. Ridiculous in hindsight, but true.

Don't think many here thought this season would be good. A lot of people saw it coming I'm afraid. The positivity over the offseason would more have to do with the 2023 signings I guess but 2022 was always going to be a write off especially with Doueihi out for half of it.
