It's only 3 games, Melbourne we had that game one, Newcastle we didn't show up and the rub of the green didn't go our way, Warriors again game in the bag but couldn't close it out. It's my belief that the teams kicking game is way below what it should be and it shows how much we miss the kicking of Robbie Farrah. I would have thought this would have been worked on in the off season but it hasn't. The continued up and under kicks are proving useless and costly, kick to the corners, kick from dummy half etc and build on that, don't make it so easy for teams to get out of their 20 metres. What I don't want to see is we get to deep into the competition and decisions on selections and coaches get made when it is too late. So far Madge has done noting wrong, it's been all down to the players and their attitude but I do believe we lack the size of most of our opponents. Anyway lets get out there this weekend and give it another go. Cheers Gary
Who is the one telling Brooks to kick an end over end lollypop every time on the 5th? Is it the coaching staff or Brooks? Do a floater, torpedo or chip it to the corner and chase hard. Mix it up for once. So depressing seeing our end of set kicks. So defensively minded from a team that can't defend anyway. Why not attack more. We literally have nothing to lose by doing it.

Lol. Stay on topic of punting Madge otherwise it’s disrespectful to Madge.

Classic backwards think from our favorite backward tiger.

Hahaha, You've missed the point drummer, and you're being selective about the context of my comment,

Of course naturally there can be some or a few unrelated comments to a topic in a thread but not pages and pages of it,
This was the point that i made.

Ivan is successful at Penrith because he has a great squad. Ivan was not successful at West Tigers because he didnt have a great squad. Assembling a good squad and keeping them is the key to success. A good coach is secondary after that.
Bbbut . . . . but we have to sack Madge !!!!!

This coach is incapable of making the decisions that need to be made. He is on thin ice with the playing group and now his selections are nothing more than trying to win them back. Way too much faith in players who have done absolutely nothing for him over 3 years.

Dead man walking.

I'll await the usual post match press conference dribble too. "It's not what we're about" and "The team trained really hard this week" and the "They know what they've got to do". He's very well versed by now.

He doesn't have much at all to work with from the lower grades, that's his major problem at the moment. No-one to replace underperforming duds with unfortunately. So he is in a position where he has to back these clowns in 1st grade and these players know that they've got him over a barrel.
I reckon Madge is a great bloke to have as part of our club, no-one shows success means more to them than him. He will die by the sword defending these incompetent muppets because he knows he basically has no other choice. I feel sorry for him TBH. If the players we have got actually played with a bit of pride he wouldn't be in this position.
These knobheads cannot wait to get a new coach in here, that gives them yet another 2-3 years of pissweak performances being glossed over as "well we are just getting used to the new coach/systems etc". It stinks. That's modern day sport for you.
