Got my thoughts on Twalzy.
I think he's being misused which he has much of the last few years...
His best game was against Penrith last year when he displayed some aggression and grubbiness to his game.
He's a piece of the puzzle to our team, going forward. Just not sure where he's at mentally.... but yes, he's been extremely average. Not impressed. Hoping he can switch on and show some improvement.
Seyfarth is the real deal though, he should be invested in as he's showing some real promise.
You know forward is toward "Our" try line yeah?
If he's being used wrong - It's been by 3 Lots of Coaches / Staff...
He's never been any different.
The thing that irks me, Is he seems very happy to have been the same since forever....
Same could be said for a few others.
My thoughts on him are..
- Zero aggression - In attack OR defence
- Won't run on the front of his feet (Too upright)
- Zero footwork at the line (Bar one linebreak I can remember)
- No passing - Offload in his game...
- Slow
Literally just an honest toiler.. The guy that should come up to grade every now and again when you're short middles....
All the old players love him because he's an old style honest footballer - And a champion bloke... But we're not playing in the 80's anymore.
He's mostly inneffective.
I'd rather someone who misses 3-4 tackles in the middle per game BUT is dangerous with the ball and can belt in defence. Case in point - I prefer Musgrove in the team over Twal...
It's funny when I see all the calls for other players to be sacked because they / we're going nowhere with them... When there's no realistic option to replace them!!
But no one is looking to move on our zero impact middle forward
- And there's plenty of those around.... Could have bought Papalii for 150k a couple years back.
