One of the first picked forwards for mine. Twal shouldn't be in the team. We need forwards with impact and he doesn't have it.

I was hopeful Twal would come on this year but 3 extremely poor performances with no impact whatsoever is unacceptable.

I like hearing Teddy Atlas talk sometimes not that I listen to him much. He made a point once that we often don't judge talent correctly. His point was that the person who turns up and makes the most of their physical ability has talent but it's a talent that we don't consider.

I don't think Brooks has the talent between his ears to get the most out of physical abilities.

Sometimes all it takes is a simple mental switch.
Hopefully he has it in him. Don't think he'd improve with a switch of club to be honest.

for some reason we just clone players like Woods e.g. Twal, Seyfarth, Eisenhuth etc. and never clones of Papalii, e.g. Haas, JWH, JFH 🙁

I’ve posted this before, but I really think WT success lies in “building the reputation of its players.”
For example, when Madge does his post match presser, instead of discussing the ebbs and flows of the game, he could focus more on praising individual efforts. Look for the off ball efforts, the little things that he wants to see more of.
Madge should be our coach until the end of 23.

Agree with your last sentence. I want to see how he goes with a better roster of players who are committed to improve themselves and the team. We've got 2 coming already in Papa and Api, hopefully we can hang another 2 or 3 between now and the start of '23.

Alex runs too rigid and upright. He needs to run like Papa or Lucy, like a crazzzy mun. 🤡🤪
 
Michael Ennis just compared Madge to Craig Fitzgibbon.....

He said Craig attracted Hynes and Finucane - mentioned McIness was already signed prior to his arrival.

We have signed Api (representative player) and Papali (representative player and 2021 second rower of the year)

These players are incredibly comparable.

The pack overhaul will continue, we need to continue with recruitment.

However the stale #7 still remains.
Time to move on from this one player in particular.

The media knows it , most of the fans know it, time for the club to know it too.

If the club gets rid if brooks [which I dont want] keep madden and put money towards a marquee player, get Ronnie Palmer fit and lacr the boots up again.

Three of those players (so far) are pretty rubbish mate. Not saying they can’t come good. The teams we are up against have elite players.

Sad truth.

We're so disadvantaged compared to every other team and I believe we're crippled with a 7 that doesn't want to there and doesn't have the skillset to compete.

On top of the rest of the garbage pile that is our roster.
