If Madden signs it should be for depth only & Hastings & Douiehi should be our halves moving forward they are both vocal & leaders & that’s what you want from your halves. Along with Koroisau at hooker & hopefully a more committed Laurie at fullback should definitely improve our spine.

Sheen’s plan. Just not sure what we do with Doueihi. He likes the right and Jock being the dominant kicker is more suited to being on the right.

I'd like Doueihi to get himself fit and back on the field. He's versatile and can play in a few positions and if Jock continues to play well Doueihi will have to fit in where he can. There is always room for a good player somewhere in our 17.

All we know at this stage re the halves is
1)Hastings is the key to our playmaking/organisation/leadership in the near future.Sure hes not quick,but he has a lot of positives which can make a difference
2)Madden is not out of place in NRL,but clubs wouldnt be falling over themselves to buy him.Id give him another year to see if theres any upside.Id totally forget that last play yesterday..it cld have happened to anybody
3)Brooks is a wonderful defender,but totally lacks any of the Hastings qualities mentioned above,and whether its $950k or $750 k(probably somewhere in between) were paying him...hes a significant part of thecurrent problem rather than the solution.He needs to go at season end and Hastings/Douhi/Madden become our halves combo..and groom a young gun or two
This season is totally lost..always was..so neeed to shuffle the deck to move forward

He must be organising who sits where on the bus or organising who hands out the jerseys or something. He certainly didn’t organise his hands that well when he had a chance to ground the ball and win the game.

I don’t believe he has publicly stated it. Matty Johns has heard it from Sheens and mentioned it on radio but he could of asked Jackson about preferred positions on his show and didn’t.
The part I was replying to was that Jackson was signed by Sheens to play lock, Sheens wasn’t part of the club at the time.
However what had been reported is that Madge had signed Jackson to replace Billy Walters whom was heading back to Brisbane and could potentially play in the 13 role.

Jock's developing nicely and should stay in the halves. Hastings to the forwards as was reported when signed.

Hastings looks like he has trained to play in the forwards. He is massive. Like way bigger than any 5/8 I can think of.

Of course it’s not ok.
That game was atrocious. It was a despicable spectacle of incompetence, not worthy of first grade status.
The fact we hadnt put them away before that last bomb is on the halves. They were both aweful with the ball.
The try was a fluke but Titans put themselves into position to capitalise from a mistake and were very lucky to receive one.
Technically, failure to ground that ball lost us that game, however the putrid attack in the previous 79 & 1/2 minutes was the real reason we lost.
