Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The bloke they replaced him with was Free was he? - at 3 (4 including us) Clubs.
Roosters let him go - Melbourne let him go - Panthers let him go - We let him go....

1/4 of the clubs in the comp have let him move on...
He can do a job if needed, But no one is building a team around him.

Tim Sheens needs to be the face and voice of the 'Football' club not Pascoe.
Anything to do with football needs to come from him.
Players, managers, sponsors, parents, you name it, if they see Tim delivering the message then people will stand up and take notice, not Pascoe!

Just watched the Joffa interview after the game , that guy is stressed out , but I agree with his last comments , it’s just not good enough , need to be better from Top to bottom. , first player I have heard from tigers pull management and staff into the same as players for criticism good on him. , ps don’t think he will be with us next year. Add another to my list above
I heard this also

I love the fact that he cares about where the club should be, Joffa has been playing real well in a poor team.

Disagree on what - That 4 clubs have let him go.

- Yes he has a ring
- I didn't call any of our backs "esteemed"
- He may well be better than anyone in our backline....

If Paul Momirovski is the ceiling we're aiming for,
What are any of us even doing here.....
You bag on our players, then bang on about Momers like he's a Gasnier..

Joffa has been playing well....
He's frustrated - and I agree with his interview...

Burt he's also they bloke that stopped and didn't chase the grubber through and let them Waltz back out past the 10 when we should have got a re-start.

He's been nothing but a back up at all the clubs he's played at except ours.....
Apparently here he's some sort of superstar.
He won a comp - More good luck than good player.

He's a solid reserve grade player - Which is where he'll spend most of his career.
Easily a walk up start in our reggies quality 17. Its been said already but Cleary, Belly and Robbo (twice) have seen enough in him to feel he's worthy of their squad. Will never be the fastest or most skillful however he's daylight ahead of what we currently have running out each week.

Yeah OK - And as I've said, ALL of those coaches and teams (and ours) have let him leave while contracted (Bar Storm) to play elsewhere....
I'd also suggest, If the Roosters backline didn't fall apart or retire at the back end of last year - It would be Robbo (Once) And he'd be playing ressies for Panthers... Or back with us.

Is he ? With injuries I think he makes our top team. He is pretty durable. I think Gildart and Roberts and much better attacking footballers. He isn't anywhere near Doueihi's class if Doueihi plays in the centres.

He isn't a winger.

He is an average at best first grader.

Aloiai isn't average. For some reason people don't regret letting him go.

Mate you'll carry on about anything just to win your point. The facts cant be argued imo. As @Cat Bag has stated he didnt just fill in a few games at Riff he played 19 and won a comp with them. He'd have played more too if not for injury.

Only reason Tigers let him go to Melb was they were desperate at 9 and had more depth in centres, same reason they let him go to Riff, they were desperate for a 1. In an ideal world I assure you the club doesn't part with him at all however they did both times out of pure necessity.

He's miles ahead of Gildart at this stage. Gilly has more speed though absolute rubbish in defense. Roberts has had his moments but has hardly done enough to cement a spot especially given his injury issues.

That's our club....

I can assure you 3 other clubs let him go...
if he's as good as he's been made out here - That just doesn't happen.

Dunno if you watch our games, But being better than our current outside backs
doesn't make you a world beater...
