Reserve grade side costs 500k a year to facilitate alone....It shouldn’t be hard when the Nrl’s annual grants cover the entire salary cap
No grants for that.

Give all the other clubs another leg up in recruitment while we take a holiday. Don’t bother filling our roster for this year, we’re only 0-5. He’s earned a rest. What do you think would have been 'fixed' had he been behind a desk for the next few weeks?
Dunno - Maybe because the CEO is doing his job?How can we be making a profit when the club is in such a precarious position?

And any profit would be tenfold if we were actually decent. So he’s failing by multiple of lots. How can we be making a profit when the club is in such a precarious position?
Everything’s fine. Keep rocking in your rocking chair and patting your cat. We've got a football department yeah, With a new football manager....
I'm sure they'll get by for 14 days or so...
The only people whinging about the bloke running the company taking a couple weeks off - Are surely people who don't run companies...
IF there were any major issues - he'd be back in a heartbeat....
He's not gone to the moon.
This is a guy who spent most of the last 12 months working from home
and most the 12 months prior more than likely not in the NRL Bubble...
All of a sudden he can't do his job unless it's directly face to face?
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!...
I think he's Pascoes catEverything’s fine. Keep rocking in your rocking chair and patting your cat.

Negative progression in an organisation you promised to make a destination club. 7 years of poor results. Massive reputational damage. An end product that makes your customer sick. He’s a superstar. You keep banging on about problems that don't exist...
While not actually pointing out what the problems you're banging on about are...
Winning football matches (Which is really the only problem you're on about) Isn't the CEO's job
- No matter how you try spin it.
Can you expand on that??When exactly would a CEO be part of any such adventures...
Never.
Don't buy in Cobar - Youre better than that.
We are done by July. So he’s needed March to July.it is the optics of the situation with Pascoe
1. On holidays during the JAC Signing saga
2. Tales of Tiger town doco walking around in the shirt heavens sake you are the CEO of a company. When on public display or in media try and look the part in suit and tie when interviewed
3. He is entitled to annual leave, barring death in family you would think annual leave could be taken October to January every year
Time for a new CEO
Or a more... 'permanent' spell? When a racehourses is running crap you can either give it a long spell or a short one.
I wouldn't go that far 😁Or a more... 'permanent' spell?
1 - That's a long bow to draw on why we might have missed JAC. I suggest he was never, ever, ever coming here. We were just a pawn to drive up his $$$.it is the optics of the situation with Pascoe

the time JAC left the club during Taylor's coaching Pascoe went on holidays when he had a contract for JAC sitting there1 - That's a long bow to draw on why we might have missed JAC. I suggest he was never, ever, ever coming here. We were just a pawn to drive up his $$$.
2 - I just googled images for several other club CEO's (out of curiosity), many in t-shirts, some open collar shirt with sleeves rolled up. One has a singlet on (for a promo by the look of it). The CEO of the company I work for got out of a VW kombi in thongs only yesterday, no joke, as I drove into our underground carpark. The company is one of Australia's biggest and is global, and he enjoys the positive support of everybody. Couldn't give a rats what he looks like. Never seen him in a collar/tie/suit in any situation, ever.
3 - If any NRL CEO was on holidays during October to January - I'd call for their immediate sacking. This is the busiest time. Conversely, March/April just as the season starts is the slowest time, win lose or draw.
The optics only matter to people with and agenda or an axe to grind. As someone already said, He has weird hair, big forehead, they think he has an ego the size of Earth etc etc. Who gives a rats ring a ding ding.

we must be so very well run then and on top of the competitiongives a rats ring a ding ding.
At which point he was a reserve grader who'd never played first grade and had only been at the organisation for a few months... But anyhow...the time JAC left the club during Taylor's coaching Pascoe went on holidays when he had a contract for JAC sitting there
Bellamy and Melbourne saw something in him enough to sign him in Pascoes absenceAt which point he was a reserve grader who'd never played first grade and had only been at the organisation for a few months... But anyhow...
