You're the only one talking about Twal...
I haven't been impressed with him this year other than that 1 or 2 games we won.
I like props like Hass & Tapine.
Good footwork and not afraid of the contact.
So far this year, Huth has twice the offloads of Twal, standing at a grand total of 2. So hardly 2nd phase wizards, either of them.LOL it's only because of his heritage that you're a fan.
Twal gets bent backwards more than any other prop in the game, he is ineffective and slow as a prop + doesn't even have an attempted 2nd phase attribute to his game. He is a brilliant defensive forward.
How is Twal more imposing than Eiso?
17 Cubs..Redcliffe might be interested too..I went back and re read your post - i get what you ae saying now - the get out clause is with Brisbane. So we will be just 1 of 16 clubs talking to him.
The posting rumours are great. They're a form of entertainment so keep them coming!
In response to you bringing him up.You brought it up & then avoid answers questions on your statement.
" Lots to like about Twal.
Nothing to like about Eiso."
And yes would take Hass & Tapine, Vaughan, Thompson and Klemmer instantly.
Stefano needs a quality starter and another rotational hit man beside him. Musgrove is starting to get some form but roster wise we are 2 short for next year.
Don't know why we aren't in the race for Vaughan who is actually off contract next year - know he has moments but he is actually been in good form for the Bulldogs & wouldn't be the most expensive option running around ATM for a stable contract.

In regards to Twal - Ineffective?
In the last 3 weeks he has run for 166, 121 and 186m respectively...from the bench.
Slow? Do you not recall the famous 50 yard dash up the middle several years ago? untouchable.
Twal may not be a dynamic prop with a raft of tackle breaking ability or offloads, but he has a tremendous motor, tackles at over 99% efficiency and makes considerable metres when given the game time to do so.
Between he and Huth, it's a lay-down misere to Twal. In my opinion.
Agree 100%.It was the addition of Api that turned them around. They were 10th in 2019, then minor premiers in 2020, the year he joined. I know he wasn't the only factor at play, but top line service from dummy half and shoring up the middle in defence goes a long way toward winning games. He is "ours" next season.
On Garner: losing an average second rower is not the end of the world. Ideally we replace him with someone better, if not, won't be hard to find a like-for-like replacement. Would also be good if we had some luck with our injuries to outside backs, so we don't need to play a 2nd rower in the centres.
I heard it was Tommy Turbo, waiting til after the Manly game to announce. 🤣Hearing we’re holding a meeting tomorrow about Cameron Munster
4 year deal not sure on numbers, i’ll find out more by 7pm tomorrow
…….. 🙄
Dykes is on the way, that's why @Eyeofthetiger 0Daine Laurie manager doesn't sound happy something doing in the fullback position.
What's he sayingDaine Laurie manager doesn't sound happy something doing in the fullback position.
what's his beef? DL contract states we can only have one genuine FB in the top 30 or something?Daine Laurie manager doesn't sound happy something doing in the fullback position.
U don't like lebos my man?If he wasn't Lebanese would you like him half as much?
Yea but why even come out with it - everyone knows Haas is unhappy at BrisbaneHe only suggested Payne Hass, based on recent speculation of his current situation.
The only thing he confirmed is that we are clearing the decks and saving up some cash for a potential marquee.
Hardly ground breaking and hardly worth crucifying him over suggested comments
Yea but if he wants out of Brisbane although they would be interested he would cross them off the list.17 Cubs..Redcliffe might be interested too..
Garner was definiltey overpaid, he's a 200-250k player max. Not good value at all. But Kikau is on what 650-700k over there. So not re-signing Kikau and signing Garner saves them 400-500k all up - to be spread out on upgrading other playersRe Garner.
Are people disappointed now, seeing that he is currently costing us possibly the same as Penrith are paying Villiame Kikau at the moment to play as our cover player?

TIGER TO JOIN PREMIERS
Wests Tigers’ Luke Garner has reportedly signed a two-year deal with Penrith starting next season.
The Panthers have signed Garner to replace Viliame Kikau who will join the Bulldogs next season, according to The Daily Telegraph.
This season Garner has averaged of 56 run metres, 11 tackles and 1.6 tackle busts across his eight games.
The 26-year-old has reportedly taken a pay cut on his $375,000 deal at the Wests Tigers to link with the Penrith juggernaut.
Garner has played 62 NRL games and was his debut by then Tigers coach Ivan Cleary in 2018.
Cleary now coaches Penrith and was reportedly instrumental in signing Garner this week.
