KOE NSW Cup Team List Round 9 V Sea Eagles

Geez Liddle has made some very poor mistakes - terrible pass and just way to slow just as we get a repeat set attacking losing the ball.

Nice shape on the attack then. Tupou's shape when he got the ball/straight run/double pump then pass - he just brought the defenders in on him.

Pole's work effort atm has been great.

Halftime considering we didn't touch the ball for the 1st 6-7mins and Manly have marched up field we have done really well to be infront. Madden experience and leadership huge bonus for the team.

Pole played the full 40mins, probably made 10 hitups and a heap of tackles. Impressive workrate. He doesn't break the line though.

Madden bit of a mixed bag, in attack he looks at another level & we just look a much better structured team but his kicking game has been ordinary so far.

Saukuru looks good, knows how to draw players in, has strength & some very very good hands

Tupou at fullback hasn't really been tested, he was in no mans land defending on the line for Manly 1st try. But was really taking note of him in our backline plays. He has been important with his line/draw/ball handling allowing some space on his outside. Plays mostly down the right side and doesn't float to the left. The 1 kick return he showed some decent speed as well.

Outside of that Liddle has been ordinary so far and no other real forward standouts.

Good assesment

Saukuru is a massive lad

Bit of a scrappy game really.

Junior Tupou looked good with ball in hand. Some nice quick, elegant passes and ran it well (although not enough). I still think he will be best suited to centre and they should pick him there and stick with that position.

Livai Saukuru impressed. He was strong and looked a threat all night.

Ogden was very hot and cold. Scored a few nice tries, but made some horrible errors.

Camroux really just played second fiddle to Madden who took control of the side.

Liddle didn't look interested in being out there.

I don't think Tupou is a fullback - his defence and positioning is suspect. He has great hands can draw the defence and throws a nice pass. He is quite quick and elusive when running the ball. I would like to see him at 5/8.
