Papa played left side a big chunk of last year, that said I don't think it's a big issue for any to switch sides.

I hope Papa is still being looked at on an edge, he's way more effective out wide.

Left side, right side, who cares, warm up the other shoulder, there supposed to be professional athletes.

We have a few irons in the fire with Nikora , Angus , Aitken about time we had some options instead of having one and getting rejected starting from nothing

2 are rep quality and one is a cat. We will end up with the cat getting paid rep wages

He has been consistent since round 1, has nothing to do with his contract.

Agree. He has been nothing but constant effort I find, it's just things look easier because others are having more of a dig atm. His role in the team rotation hasn't been easy either. Joffa is a quality forward & glad he took up his option for next year.

Ur kidding , do u watch our games seyfarth is a fringe 1st grader at best , okane is a kid and untested , if we were able to land Angus , u go for it .

Small observation on our forward targets:

Papa plays right side
Nikora plays right side
Aitken plays right side
Lucy plays right side

More I look at the recruitment more I can see if we could snare Nikora then Papa is in the middle as a starting partner for Stefano.

That then leaves us with a left edge backrower shortage.

Angus plays on the left and is the best left backrower on the market. Hope we go hard for him.
With only Blore our Left edge backrower who will need time to come back from injury (takes forwards a good 12-18mths to get back to fitness levels)

If we did that would make our forward pack very mouth watering:

Left, right it don’t matter if you can pass both ways. We want the player that can play on both sides.
By the way Aitken has been playing on the left this year.
But as I said it really only applies to halves who can benefit from being on the side that enables their dominant kicking foot to be facing away from the defence; For example; Brooks, Munster, Wighton.

It would be annoying if we signed Chricton and another club swoop in and take O'Kane and Kitouga.

I think u would have a better chance of keeping the two blokes , if they had papa and Angus to learn there trade off , neither of them two are going to be 1st grade full time players in the next two years , but they would be in the top 18 having done there apprentice under two gun backrowers

I agree, these young blokes need to be introduced to First Grade off the bench once a platform has been laid, not rushed in to plug holes so we only lose by 20 and not 40.

I don't think these good players wouldn't get games if we signed 2 guns.
If you good enough you will get games and look at this year, we're struggling to field a top su6de with injuries and suspensions.
