They won't for the contract value's all were on last contract though.
I also doubt Nikora signed with the sharks for $565k a season when the reported offer hadn't moved for weeks was 200k below that from the Sharks. That sounds like it was our offer he declined.

It’s looking pretty grim for next year and need to land a signing soon. Honestly I would be looking at Crichton but he’s probably a snowflakes chance in hell of coming here and again we have to be careful of managing the cap.

Aitken is probably the most realistic target but that signing doesn’t really fill me with confidence.

I’d also be going hard for May because of recent form.

I think it’s almost time to start looking at lower grades to try and poach some up and coming players that have shown promise. Otherwise look at some backrow options from England.

He's a decent back rower in a market when there are none up for grabs.
He hasn't signed for less than 500k - I'd put my house on it.

Re the Roosters reported clean out.

Crichton would take instantly it's a no brainer. Go hard or go home especially with Nikora off the market.

Keary is better than Brooks & AD but will be 31 next year (despite still looking like a 22yr old). Would love to grab him but then I can't help but think retirement contract - same old same old Tigers. He should have another 3yrs in him though. It would enable us to trade Brooks for a forward (look towards the Raiders for Tapine) and actually strengthen 2 positions with the roster move in 1 hit.

JWH is a great prop, really love how he plays the game. Issue is he will be 34 next year and this year all his leading stats have taken a hit (worst stat year so far in his career) which indicates he is on the decline. With Api, Papa, Joffa, Musgrove and if we snared Crichton do we really need another experienced head like JWH in the pack. Wouldn't say no but again can't help but say retirement contract because of how we have been bitten before.

He is very close to the Clearys and best mates with half of that team.

Penrith will move Staines on, clear his contract, and give that money to May.

Chricton would be absolutely immense. He would change our whole image.

Taylan May looks a very good player. immensely doubtful he leaves Penrith but if we make them sweat then I'm happy with that. young Ofaele Lene from Wests SG Ball looks like a To'o/May clone.
