Please list who "they" are as this pool of NRL quality halves available to "replace" Brooks is referred to ad nauseum by the Brooks' posse. How much will it cost to attract one of them to WTs in competition with other clubs?

Its been widely reported he is roughly on that amount. Get your head out of the sand.
We've got madden, AD and jacko who can play in the halves. Sure they're not on inflated amounts. I like the young kid from the Warriors too, Chanel? Few hb out there who are stuck behind regulars,
The brooks lovers on this forum need to justify his value.
You guys can't seriously think that he has been worth it for the last so many years?

I respect anyone that wears our jersey except anasta.
Years ago, brooks was one of my faves.
My patience ran out ages ago.

We have not one rep player and your wondering if we could afford Angus and keep our players. Lol your probably right though, Roosters, cowboys, Manly all have 4-5 800k plus players in Thier side and yet they never have a problem upgrading.

We can afford Angus another good prop and a centre.

We will get 400k for Mbye and a few other things. Brook is either gone or taking a pay cut the following year.

We are actually in a decent position for once.

Nope. He’s overpaid but we win less games if Madden is your guy.

Reported doesn't mean it is true. The context is also important. If he is on that amount, is it due to his contract being backdated? He accepted less in earlier years? We don't know and it is only speculation that is used by the Brooks' posse to hit him over the head.

AD has spent a large portion of his time at WTs injured and he will be a year away from the date he returns to the field to be back to his best. As for Hastings, without Brooks there is no spark in the halves. Also, have the other teams now worked him out. He's been quiet the last few games.

The Roosters have also shown that if if you have all the stars, then you can't afford to have depth. There has been a increase in injuries in the last few years, you have to balance stars and depth now.

Halves dip in form coincided with our better backs going down injured. No strike.

You're right and annoys me when the top teams get an injury and apply for an exemption because they don't have any hookers for an example. Paying for a top dollar top 17 and having little depth is the fault of the club and they shouldn't have any exemptions if they don't organise their squad better.
