It makes the Roosters look even more like they are hiding funds.I don't believe it does.
Shows we're ambitious in targeting players who are more aligned to our goals, but that the perception obviously hasn't changed to some.
Roosters are clearly on some decline, it's going to take them a while to ramp back up to be a legitimately competitive side. They haven't recovered from the Cordner / Friend retirements, or the loss of Latrell, and have a few other players reaching the decline of their careers - Keary, JWH, Tedesco etc.
Angus C himself is not at his peak, but he allegedly wants to stay at the Roosters for less. Less now of course, cushy job, investment property and a taxi licence later.
