With the benefit of hindsight it’s worked out well for them in a professional sense. They have no morals though and they can obviously live with that. I think matterson would be a liability for NSW.

It makes the Roosters look even more like they are hiding funds.

Roosters are clearly on some decline, it's going to take them a while to ramp back up to be a legitimately competitive side. They haven't recovered from the Cordner / Friend retirements, or the loss of Latrell, and have a few other players reaching the decline of their careers - Keary, JWH, Tedesco etc.

Angus C himself is not at his peak, but he allegedly wants to stay at the Roosters for less. Less now of course, cushy job, investment property and a taxi licence later.

I honestly couldn’t give a rats arse what the Roosters pay their players, how they pay them - how much over the cap they are, what job they get - how many paper bags on a golf course and every other fantasy that’s trotted out here every other day….

Any angle them and every other club does to keep top line talent - is Available to us as well… as it is all the other clubs, some use it better than others - some clubs align themselves with the right people to make it happen….

You can’t blame them because we’re not smart enough to do it!!

Well you can if it's cheating.

For example Storm really did cheat, proven, and they won a few premierships off that. If you are allowed to cheat, or should emulate the cheat, then the whole system falls apart becomes far more lop-sided than it is right now.

I'm not advocating that Tigers start cheating.
