Officially nobody knows but use some logic it is not 1.1 million. The rumour of 1.1 million has come about April 2022 no mention of it over christmas and pre season when Newcastle were trying to negotiate a deal.

What is scary about the spine $$$ is it excludes AD $650k, Madden & Liddle for this year, next year it gets even worse with Api coming.
Our spine players will be the most expensive in the NRL at $3 - 3.5M.
Something has to give as not all of those players can last especially on the salaries & us coming bottom of the ladder.

Retention is critical for us right now. The club needs to make the right decisions. The halves are clearly the area where some tough decisions need to be made.

NRL360 don't have an agenda against us. They are in the agenda of making money and that's it.
Blaming, criticising, yelling and screaming sells. They and countless other journos have been proven wrong time and time again, they all have a hi rate of 20% if they're lucky. I'm just surpised that they haven't been sued.
