He wasn’t responsible for the signings of the big four flops on marquee money, only now are we in a position to replace them with other marquee players. But we can’t attract the talent required to mentor our best young talent, who continue to be picked off by the glamour clubs. All because the reputation damage Pascoe (and his chum Cleary) has done in his time at WT is too significant. Front office needs to be cleaned out 🧹🧹🧹🧹

Edit: and if the last review didn’t find that 7 months ago I doubt the current one will. The lunatics are in charge here.

I don't think anyone has the answer to that one Magpies.
The penalty imposed and the fact it didn't come under scrutiny of the NRL suggest it was something like rocking up to training pissed or hungover, which he's done before.
The players or leadership group weren't happy so this reason sounds about right.

Lee was careful to point out Sheen’s was heading up the football department. Everyone else just looks after the gardens at Wests Tigers apparently. The flowers look good 👍
 
I thought it was decided that Madge would be the coach and the board would support him until the end of his contract ,surely he see out his contract

Some parts of it have...
Benji and Robbie moved on... Haven't really replaced them until this year Benji and Robbie next.
We had Harry Grant for a bit, He's not been replaced.
Matto should have been here the last 2 years, Does he make us a better side - Based on 2018 Form you'd say certainly...
Josh Aloiai - Would he have improved us.... Probably. (He took off a year early for cash)
Matulino was decent in his first year for us, Injured in the second...
He's been replaced by Tamou this year (Not last)

The problem has been that we were paying big money for blokes who weren't even in the 17 - And one that was but didn't do anything... FOR YEARS!!
I think it's easy to forget we were paying 1.5m odd for Packer and Reynolds last year - Because they never played we all went and forgot they existed!!
Until those Salaries are completely gone from the cap - Our hands have been tied....
We've not been able to sign anyone..
We've tried, But it was never going to work - We'd have had to cripple the rest of the squad to pay players to play for other teams to fit them in - Like the Dogs will be doing next year.
Even now, We're paying Mbye a bit less than Addo Carr is getting....
These things make a difference. Especially when there's been so much of it - For so long.

Madge had Souths up for a long time before they flattened out...
Wasn't so long ago Robbos Roosters also missed the 8 with plenty of good cattle.
Madge had a lot of senior players coming to the end and I think they got sick of working hard
Might have got sick of his voice - And relentless work ethic.
- I can't see that happening here.... All our blokes are younger and most don't know any different.

the last review probably knew ciraldo would knock them back, this time he must at least be considering it

I don't think madge is a bad coach but we are going backwards and the fans deserve better. Sick of waking up Monday morning depressed after another poor show . Problem is changing coach now for just anybody who is available is not going to achieve much. I do wish Madge would put our best team in terms of skill, experience and effort on the field each week and not have it influenced by who's in or out of his good books each week . The same should apply to Hastings who can't dictate who he will or won't play with.
Having said that Ciraldo seems to be the one who will build club using pathways and attracting talent .
