Wests Tigers Coaches

Well, it's probably a combination of everything. Place on the ladder, for and against, playing injured players, 4 years of no improvement and then everyone else dumping coaches. The most damning is playing injured players for mine.

Anyway, Ciraldo, Woofe, Morris would all be good I expect.

However at some stage down the track, I reckon Payten will be here coaching. Not sure how many coaches have won a GF as a player and then one as a coach of the same team.

Having heard Todd's thoughts on ever coaching the Wests Tigers from his own mouth....
I think I'd have more chance of coaching at the club than him.

This is interesting. By having the microscope on Madge, he knew his position was tenuous a best. Did he feel forced to have injured players playing to save his job? He kind of felt that desperate times called for desperate measures.

Ironically, it may have been his downfall

Mate, I was watching video of Hastings at Leichhardt in the sheds at half time.

In a world of pain probably shouldn't of played at least one of the games the past couple of weeks.

No i actually do know but im not entering in to this conversation.

I respect that you disagree with my opinion and usually enjoy your posts. On this occasion you dont agree with me and are looking to pick holes in what im saying. Focusing on unimportant areas of a discussion gets us nowhere . A simple i dont agree would be more appreciated mate.

The development pathways and what the club has done to address this issue is very well documented and has been a huge turning point in the turning of the tide. From here we move forward.
Why are you being so defensive? I don’t follow the junior teams, I don’t live locally. I don’t know the answer. It is an honest question.
When I see posters say (and it’s not just you), that our pathways are sorted, my curiosity is peaked. How have they been sorted? Were we not supporting the youth before? Quite a lot of juniors have made first grade. That tells me the pathways to grade were there in some form. How have they been strengthened to the point people are happy in less than 1 year? We have seen no fruits yet…how could we?

Youve also noted the development pathways upgrade has provided a “huge turning point in the turning of the tide” That sounds great but what is it referring to?

Duty of care🙄
Cronk GF kind of care?

First grade rugby league players get "cleared" medically to play while not being 100% fit all the time. It's then up to the club and the coach what approach is appropriate. I think its obvious Sheens has a different approach to this stuff then Madge.

Obvious how? At one point we had 9 injured FG players could hardly field a competitive team.
If Sheens is boss man then you can't pick and choose when to make him responsible for football decisions, and when not to.

I would be putting my money on Ciraldo just a nose in front of Morris. But if Payten was available id say he'd be a special no way i see him moving from the cowboys.
Payton mentioned when he declined the Warriors job that he needs to stay in Australia for family reasons. North Queensland was the only other coaching job going at that time.
Does anyone know if he took the cowboys as his first choice? Is his family from North Queensland or does he have family in Sydney. That would ultimately help with understanding if his an option at all.

It was nice to here Sheens sticking up for the club last night and giving the club a bit of back bone. Can guarantee Sheens has more knowledge and footy nouse then you (wouldn't be hard) was actually impressed with how he handled the media and I have full confidence he will get us success with the route we are taking.
Why was he standing out in the cold ?
Did he lock his keys in the car again 😂

Look, I didn't want Madge sacked, but if you can't see from Sheens' comments and then followed up by Noddy's that there is some issue here then that's ok. I see it, I don't want to, but I do.

Your comment about picking and choosing when Sheens is boss man is irrelevant to me. I've never picked and choosed when he is boss. Maybe your confused with other posters. He gave Madge control, now decided to take it away, and a reason is how he is handling players.

I recall he is originally from Temora and attended one of the rugby league aligned schools in the ACT.
