Wests Tigers Coaches

Getting ready to go to my fav Gold panning creek mate.
I don't work as such so the clock means nothing to my missus and me magpie 👍👍
Cobar I hope you find a nugget that lets you purchase the WT.
I can just imagine you sitting in the great big Directors Chair telling our 'minor sponsor' Brydens Lawyers to get their big ugly sign off the front of Our jumpers as it's being replaced with Your very own @Cobarcats sign.
Would a metal detector be any easier?
I hope You and Your Missus really enjoy the time you spend there.

Best result is Noddy smashing it! New coach of the decade!
they say, "those that cannot play, can coach." If so, Noddy may be capable.

Noddy was a gun, in the same frame as Brooks is a gun.... Plenty of talk of his ability, crumbled on the big stage, and never the man to elevate the team even though playing in the halves. Wasnt useless, just wasnt the accent of the teams he played in either.

To be fair, Taylor had more impact as a player, a real student of the game, maybe the step down to Noddy is the winner (yes Kimmorley played Origin, though Taylor never threw a cutout pass for an Origin loss either).

Don't think it's physically possible.

Even if payten walked they could legally make him sit out next year.

Plus the want coach to make calls this year noway payten walks out this year.
How about Woolfe though?
He is from the North Queensland region and before heading to the knights and overseas was winning the qld cup with the Blackhawks.
Isn’t he looking to come back next year?
North Queensland could have a backup plan if Payton decides to do a Ricky Stuart and signs a 7 year deal with us.

If coaches r same as players he couldn't sign until nov

I dunno man, I dunno.

Whatever coach can sign some star players will find success here, otherwise rinse and repeat.

Not a fan of Morris, or Ciraldo purely because of it's all just hype with him at the moment. Best we can get out of him is some Penrith players. Payten has started well, but who knows.

This is up in the same class of dumb comment as the person who wants Seyfarth over Crichton

You have zero idea about talent or the game based on this comment.

The case for ciraldo

We need Ciraldo because he is an intergral part of one the most successful clubs (in terms of win/loss in recent years) in the history of the game. Entirely dominant, almost unbeatable, current premiers.

Secondly, the above is apparent in a contemporary sense and how the game is played here and now. Not in the past.

A significant part of the success has been the selection and grooming of promise. Making the right decisions about prospects. Recruiting properly ie Momo, even sticking with Edwards etc. They rarely screw up. They look to the future too.

He’s coached the Panthers alone when the rodent has been unavailable and won. He has complete knowledge of almost aspects of tactics and strategy.

The Panthers defence has been some of best I’ve ever seen in footy in decades and that’s in an era designed to assist attack ( compared to the past).

He appears to tick all media boxes but the inside word is that despite the appearance of composure of players etc, he can be tough.

All of this is said without any promises of Panther cattle coming along, although he’d know every youngster ready to emerge.

So that’s why I think he is the right guy for us. He’s in the silky quality zone now. We can barely imagine it.

Ivan has spent him with his long contract, and he must go. We are a good fit for him. No instant pressure, just need to reach a competitive level. The comment that he will develop is true, but he will also seek early results and build the roster which is already moving the right way. I also think he can communicate really well. That’s what our players desperately need. A lot of players will relish and be intrigued by his insights as the nrl admire the panthers. Maybe not some of them, but you get my drift.

He presents as a compelling candidate on many levels and I think the club is also convinced. We are long overdue for a extended break in our perpetual bad fortune and he’s our best chance.

Just my view. I hope to praise other candidates too over the weekend. I’d be gutted if Noddy somehow delivers with our current roster and we axe him. He’s off to a stellar start with his media stuff so far.
