With Luki seemingly doing his ACL yes they'll want him early to try go on a run, so who are they willing to trade? We need a quality, first grade ready player.

All good but I'd go after a young good prop from there if their is a swap. If we save money and.get a young tough forward I wouldn't be against it.

I wouldn't be against it, though looking at the reserve grade team this week and seeing the last supposedly similar type that we got from them in Simpkins, and not even able to nab a spot in the starting side.

Also often hard to get players to make such a change without paying extra dollars.

Balboy, appreciate your opinion. Its just mine. I’m a fan and wouldn’t be insulted by Luc moving on early so we can pay forward contracts and secure further funds for a marquee.

On the other hand, assuming WT season is gone, Lucy's remaining salary would be money well spent from this season's salary cap to bring forward upgrades to Hastings, Laurie, Doueihi and the like that the club intend to extend.

Plus we could promote and bring in one of the youngsters in for short stints.
