Luck was quick to say there is nothing in writing. What does that suggest to the discerning supporter?

On their own forum a poster made a reference to a SEN interview where Luck is alleged to have asked LL's manager to negotiate a release.

Maybe our club is being professional and keeping quiet.

50 and 1.
My pop (ex nrl ref coach), told me when I was 12 that the magpies will never ever win the gf in my lifetime coz the club is poor, poorly run and the rich get richer.
I guess he would say he was right.
Thank god for the Tigpies!!!
On the Magpies another reason they never won a GF in those years is that they were robbed with "funny" refereeing.

Thinking 62, 63 and 78 at least.

When dealing with giving players an early release,
You would think that the WT are the most experienced of all NRL clubs, how could this seem to have been mishandled now when the club has done this so many times before?

Is this a different player manager than the previous ones who made those releases look too easy for Matterson and Moses?

Or was this player manager just too eager to get his hands on his big commission?IMG_20220615_140933.jpg

What’s the mess?
We just released a dungbat player, saved some money.
We are not going to cry about his missed tackles or be forced to presented his mediocre efforts for rest of
year.
He and the Cowboys asked for it and Sheens delivered.
Maybe your not reading me properly Ampy. I’m not blaming us at all. Off he goes with my full blessing.

But when we sell a player, we need the deal honoured.

NQ’s credit card has bounced, not good enough.

Like buying petrol and driving off.

Anyone else get the feeling NQ wanted him released 1/7 when he's 1/12 cheaper?
I think the cowboys didn't think it would be so soon. Tigers just got it done quickly and the cowboys are moving things around quickly.

Maybe they will have to wait a month so hel be on less coin to out him under.

Just my positive thoughts -

Sheens is aware the Cowboys have cap issues and can't afford LL this year without losing/swapping a player with WTs.

Justin booked LL first class on a NASA space shuttle to Townsville before the ink dried on the release and before any discussions around player swaps occurred.

The Cowboys now have LL but can't fit him in the cap. Robson is offered and rejected. Why would we want another hooker? We want Nanai but would accept the Hammer.

Off to a great start for him, his new club might have left him high and dry till next year, I hope it breaks down and has to sit out the rest of the year the irony of leaving people in the lurch would just be amazing.

Why would the tigers announce the release Ie. Sheens . If we didn’t sign the release . It’s that simple .
The manger , not the cowboys applied , granted on behalf , we sign the release , the manger hadn’t arranged the particulars for the extension into 2022 for the new contract .
Our onus starts and stops at his contract here .
Whether he can play for them has nil to do with us .
That’s his mangers fault .
He clearly jumped the gun with the release request .
I wonder whether Lucy plays footy this weekend and for who?
