Ciraldo spotted today at the COE again today 3rd time in many weeks we should have an answer at the end of this week about the coach

Wouldn't expect acceptance before origin given its basically the Panthers side.

If he wasn’t interested at all he wouldn’t have spent 3 different visits within 1-2 weeks.
Also shows we aren’t being dismissed by him so we must have something to offer

The fact we are thinking of someone else indicates we aren’t confident of CC coming though unless we are just putting out feelers incase.

1st a 7 hour meeting and now more visits.
Maybe he has agreed and just discussing players he wants or let go moving forward.

I don't know why but my i have a feeling he was keen but didn't want to been seen as the reason the club pushed Madge out so he said once Mage goes we give it a few weeks to announce..

Last season Ciraldo told us in the post season what would be needed to get him to come over we have done that off field

So I was right - KOE was cancelled July August September etc. All teams faced the same hiatus - that is the real issue - why did we go backwards and others went forwards?

Alot of the boys from other teams went local clubs and kept playing. Especially in Queensland.
Our KOE was a bit of a mix of players from all aspects and some went back to work others stayed on and trained with the club, then remember we had the 40 odd or so players that had to join a bubble in Queensland. Half of them didn’t get game time.

CC sounds like a guys that knows exactly what he wants and how to get it.. This is the guy we need and I agree make him an offer he cannot refuse as this would be a massive win moving forward.

Lots of meetings is a positive sign.

Ciraldo would’ve seen Gus behind the Ivan sacking and the Hook sacking at smugworld as well as his opposition to the re-appointment of Ivan.

He also would’ve seen Gus tinkering with Barretts training regime.

That’s just humiliating.

This business about Hook being a non communicator hasn’t rung true. They are going well for their roster.

Then who could forget his input into SGI’s review where everyone got speared except Mary. They came second last following that poor effort, assistants were brought in to help Mary and then he was sacked. Well done Gus.

Gus is also too outspoken in the media and unfairly critical.

Even Barrett couldn’t handle him. Took his leave just as side was gelling.

Madge was a friend and they spoke frequently, but that hardly helped us or Madge.

And of course, Gus was summarily booted from Penrith and started pillaging their players.

Gus is also a bit of a dinosaur and heading into the end of his footballing personality career.

You don’t want the fathead lording it over you or to be one of his bitches.

So I hope Gus keeps interfering, wonderful cc recruitment asset for us.
