WT Ownership, The Board & Senior Management - MEGA Thread

Only 2 seats of the 7 seat board are voted for by the General members of Wests Ashfield, even then you have to have been a member for 3 years to run or vote for those 2 seats. There is zero avenue to have any impact on the Wests Ashfield or Wests Tigers boards.

Hence why fan chatter about board and pascoe won't do anything

1000% agree.

The front office should be:
Pathways.
Junior exhibitions/Benji Marshall going to schools, etc.
Building and development, etc.

Also:
Hey were trying to sign XXX can we get a good sponsorship deal?
Can we get work for ABC retired player?

The fact our current team sucks isn't their direct fault. they see it sucks and hired Tim Sheens to fix the mess. Look give Sheens a little time to work this out, one thing Sheens can do really well is plan out a 4 year run to the finals. Someone was talking Rugby league coaches and most coaches have been mentored by only a few people.

The fact that the COE took so LONG to build, IMHO is their fault. Construction however can be difficult.

We don't want the book-keepers making the league decisions. We want them pushing a Sheens/Gould/Brian Smith/etc type in to make the right decisions.
Referencing Brian Smith destroys any possible credibility in this gibberish!

Sacking a committed coach before the management haven't locked in a better one to replace him.

They deserve to be embarrassed in the media and by the fans

So amateur.
I hate myself for thinking this way, I really do..it appeared that the club’s administration wanted him to fail. The green shoots, the promising signings created the urgency for his sacking before it became hard to justify.
The “square peg” remark by Sheens says it all. Madge obviously ruffled the wrong feathers.

The Wests Tigers on the charm offensive with select media at well-known rugby league lunch venue Grappa in Leichhardt.

Tigers director of football Tim Sheens and chairman Lee Hagipantelis hosted a handful of journos on Tuesday as the club looks to try and improve its image.

The Tigers embarked on a similar exercise earlier in the year at the same venue – the irony being previous head coach Michael Maguire was also present.

Grappa is well-known as the alternative Rugby League Central for some of the biggest names in the game.

Owner Charlie Colosi is famous for rolling out the red carpet with his signature slow-cooked lamb shoulder or the tagliolini pasta with WA crab meat, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, garlic, chilli and parsley.

Ever the quality host, Charlie always insists on a limoncello at the end of every meal

Circle jerks all round.
Even the host sounds like a dandy…
