He saw Griffin get stabbed in the front, he took over as interim coach.Didn't he also see Ivan get stabbed in the front as well or wasn't he at panthers at the time?

Yeah the Melbourne Storm have been cellar dwellers since their second set of books was discovered.Winning at any cost? Rugby League clubs haven't employed Flanagan. Actions speak louder than words.
This is probably the only thing that'll be good.Great news. He will be good for the club if he signs. He did well at the Sharks when faced with $353,000 cap penalties in 2019 and 2020 after Flanagan departed. The playing group rated him as well.
Woolf knocked back the Warriors but there doesn't appear to be much noise around that occurrence.
Morris is assistant coach at Souths and hopefully coach at WTs. WTs appear to have steered clear of Flanagan but if reports on this forum are true, met with Morris last week. They havn't employed Morris either
Flanagan has had similar rolesMorris is assistant coach at Souths and hopefully coach at WTs.
Because he isn’t a first grade coach. At Origin level it’s about man management. Not to mention he’s really only the figurehead for the rest of the old boy coaching staff they have. Very different to the week to week grind of NRL.Why has nobody mentioned Slater?
I don't know what it is but i genuinely think he is going to be an awesome coach, in saying that he is probably going to walk into the Melbourne job when Bellamy goes
Do you support performance enhancing drugs being used on players to win? I'd imagine the answer is no. So why even suggest Flanagan. Are his "wins" not subject to classification?Yeah the Melbourne Storm have been cellar dwellers since their second set of books was discovered.
He was until let go by St George when Griffin arrived. He may be a scout now at that club.Wasn't/Isn't he employed at the Dragons in some capacity?
And yes, winning is generally what you are aiming for in a competition.
Flanno has done his time and paid the penalty....if you give Morris a second chance at coaching NRL level squad, then surely you should give Fannagan his second chance as well...Its goes back to personal choice, you wanted Madge gone, backed Morris and Ciraldo as our coach, while others on here see the coaching role different to you...Do you support performance enhancing drugs being used on players to win? Neither did Roy Masters or Ted GlossipThat's my point, he played some grade. Wolfe has no playing career
Technically it can get worse. 16th the season, 17th in 23It doesn’t matter who the next coach is because we can’t get any worse. We are getting the spoon this year and that’s on Madge, not Kimmorley.
It beggars belief that people think Madge was going to turn this joint around. The best he did was finish 9th - with Ivan’s team!
Two and a half years later, with more and more his picked squad, we have since finished 11th, 13th and this year bottom.
Morris, Woolfe, Flanagan, Kimmorley or Charlie Brown cannot do any worse.
Trye, things can always get worse. Hows balmain and the magpies going?Technically it can get worse. 16th the season, 17th in 23
That is a false equivalence. Most discerning football supporters would understand the decision to let Morris go was harsh. I won't revisit the Flanagan matter other than to write he was an NRL coach and should have known better.Flanno has done his time and paid the penalty....if you give Morris a second chance at coaching NRL level squad, then surely you should give Fannagan his second chance as well...Its goes back to personal choice, you wanted Madge gone, backed Morris and Ciraldo as our coach, while others on here see the coaching role different to you...
We need an experienced NRL coach if the powers that be select the right person for the job so be it.Morris,Flanno or whoever,we need change in attitude from players, change at board level and a CEO who sticks to his job and keeps out of others...
We all get emotional in regard to this club on many varying topics, but for the rest of this year and next we need a real concerted effort to turn this place around, enough of the garbage that has been in place here needs to be cleaned...I just hope whoever is responsible for the huge cleanup selects the right people to get it done....
Bennett played for Australia
Ahh ok, he has a good coaching resume regardless.Bemnet played for Australia and Robinson played a fair bit of grade. I'm talking about grade, not first grade.
Anyway, that's my concern with Wolfe. What I do like about him is that he is a former teacher, and having an ability to communicate with current players is paramount.
Dipshit (him, not you)It's pretty well known in coaching circles that Ciraldo was put off by how Lee spoke to Rob Bechara via text message. Thought it was incredibly unprofessional and gave him second thoughts about signing here (word is he had a verbal agreement, just nutting out the details). Lee once again puts his foot in his mouth.
