Sharks fans liking him isn't a big deal. That's up there with 'he interviewed well'.

I believe there is a genuine affection for him amongst Sharkie supporters which is a recognition of the good results he achieved as coach and the qualities he possesses. As an example, in the Tonga v NZ game, Katoa, Nikora and Mulitalo are graduates of the Pathways he established at the Sharks. That is impressive.

Will be happy as long as his pathway leads to WT playing finals, instead of going backwards over the last few seasons.

Pathways the new great hope. Id say as a club we were the most under represented in the weekend rep round. That is the reality for our new coach, that and competing with 16 other clubs for players to try and elevate our position.
