Wests Tigers Coaches

Anything achieved in the ESL has to be taken with a grain of salt. Justin Holbrook had an 80% winning record over there. Here it’s 37%. Our own dumped coach had a 76% winning record. Results means nothing over there.
But what if we could sign a man of steel winning coach with a > 75% Win rate. Surely that’s worth pursuing

I miss the monorail. It should have been extended to Newcastle.

When it opened, it had a top speed of 10kph which was a frightening public transport speed for those days.

You’d hang on for dear life and pray the g forces didn’t wreak havoc with your face.

Little children not strapped in would be stuck fast on the back window by the forces of gravity.

Hard work to untangle them.

Scientists thought that the air vortex it created around Sydney contributed to global warming.

Nothing to do with car emissions.

For you youngsters on line today, many years ago, all the roads you see, there were no cars, they were filled with monorails. Have a look at old photos.

This is the message those of us of the Monorail Veterens association need to teach the young folk.

This is how we got along youngsters.

And if you teenagers on line tonight, look down, you may discover two longer things called legs!

Not that you’d know what legs looked like following the wests tigers.

My parents used to say to me

“ Stick your head out a bit further little buddy, try to wink at the driver, who is driving the train going the other way on the next track. Wait unless he passes and let us know if he winked back”

“ Ok daddy, sounds awesome” I used to reply.

If he’s liking himself too much, I say pull the Morris offer.

What’s he still going to be doing in 48 hours?

Does he think Melbourne are after him? Is he waiting near his letterbox or fax machine?

Ffs give us a break.

I know he has to go through his mum, and I think she’s great standing up for him, but…
