Wests Tigers Coaches

He said not to them at the end of last season, you would have thought this time round they would have approached him on the quiet rather than blurting out he was our main target. So yes I believe they are incompetent, FFS we even released a presser announcing we hadn't got our man.
We aimed high for a quality coach from an outstanding system. That's a big tick from me. Warriors were rejected by Woolf after their owner publicly flew to the UK to sign him and offered a long term deal. It happens.

Shouldn't have sacked Maguire when we did I believe if madge was coach against dogs and warriors we could've won, least wait till the end of the year and in the background sheen's only have contact with ciraldo, Wests Tigers have never won a wooden spoon, unfortunately 2022 will be our first, fffff#%$#%$#%$#%$#%$kkkkkk

Ps: only my thoughts, hope I'm wrong

It strikes me as a bit strange now, I assumed it was the right call to get rid of maguire straight away but in hindsight, it really wouldn't have made a diffrence if he stayed till the end of the year and the club told him this was his last season, maybe he would make it difficult to let guys go like luch early so he could jag a few wins, without maguire here now we can offload and sign who we want, but we aren't really signing anyone atm so I'm abit torn about it atm, letting maguire go was the right call imo but maybe he could have seen the year out.

Sheens was coaching in the 80,s for gods sake he's old . From his point of view he's got a nice salary nice office, no game day pressure, don't have to go to training. I'm sure he would not want the job but would love to know who does?

Neither has Sheens
Sheens has not coached at NRL level for at least 10 years....he may have had his hand on some of the crap that has gone on within that 10 years BUT he has no idea what it takes to coach a side these days at NRL level...
Play whatever card you want Tony, but we need better than Teflon in this day and age of success...

Go see the board, tell them how you’ve achieved success before. You’ll get the gig

To be frank. If I was Sheens and I saw what rabble the first grade side was in. I would elect myself as head coach for 3 years (Sheens magic number) in a rebuilding phase. But and this part is important. I would select the best two up and coming coaches as assistants and pay them above market grade with the aim of 1 of them becoming the head coach in 3 years time.
Sheens doesn’t need help from any senior coaches, but enthusiastic young legs so to speak may make this appointment work.
Dean Young is pick number 1.
Number 2 I’m not so sure maybe Hannay?
I’ve no idea on who the best two up n comers are but I think your suggestion is a great idea and would help build from within. Essentially creating our own Ciraldo.

I will, but I bet I wont put myself in the position to get sacked and then SUE the club for failing to fulfill my obligations to better the team and club...

With that attitude I know why he came back. Fits right in.
