Wests Tigers Coaches

A
They'll have to be - The whole competition is better....
Humans are more developed than they were 20 years ago.
There weren't Jason Taumalolo's running around in 05
Kikaus' etc....

Kids these days are enormous...
Alot of that has to do with the way the games played, if things stay as they are the players will be generally more bulky, with the wrestle and just punching through the line that grinds kind of game, if the game remained as it was in 05 more speed and skill based the players would be leaner, they'll adjust to suit the rules over a few seasons, it's remarkable how the guys who organise the fitness regimes at the teams adapt and the changes to the players is mind blowing, in saying that different types of players may have more impact than the players we have now, it's all about adapting and staying ahead of the curve, it's the miracle tonic all the clubs would kill for.

All sounds a little unbelievable and to me always a bit suss when the words sources are used by journalists. Wouldn’t be surprised if this isn't an exercise in tracing the leak BUT if it's true the club has tried every thing else to gain success so something out of of left field might be good

Coaching is about culture and the ability to create a team environment moreso than the game planning imo. If they can attract talent it’ll work.

Which none of them have a great record of doing....

I can definitely see benji attracted players to the club

The biggest myth in Footy....
How, Who are the quality players he attracted in his playing days here?
No one wanted to play with him - But everyone is going to want to play for him?

He could attract kids, I'll agree with that...
Can he teach them the fundamentals - I saw nothing in his career to suggest he ever learned them himself....

Some people liked to claim Ivan’s real intention was to sabotage the club. Would love to know what they think of this.

alright gents, probably going to get rinsed for this but here goes.

I'm stoked with this. Benji is a universally loved character that is adored by just about everybody in the league. this instantly improves our standing in the media and the player market. he understands the modern game because he's played it, and while he's not exactly qualified right now, by the time he serves his apprenticeship under one of the game's best ever coaches he will be ready.

we speak about identity and DNA all the time. Tim Sheens, Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah are as Wests Tigers as you can get.
