This could turn out to be an incredible fairytale or the biggest fail. Either way I'm behind it.

A coaches job whether an assistant or the head coach is to get the best out of each player individually and then fit those pieces together to develop a winning team.

Benji is footy smart. He's a people person who can do that on an individual level, especially with the next crop of juniors coming through.

Sheens is a four time premiership coach and as a mentor he'll teach Benji the X's and O's.

My concern is whether 2 years is enough time as an assistant before he takes the reins.

Sheens is quoted saying he was having second thoughts. It’s a story.

He was questioning the shit show that is the wests tigers right now . I would be too . It’s a shambles . He wanted reassurances . And it sounds like he got them .
If you listen to him speak , he’s very aware of the mess he’s walking into .
And he wants to lead . He’s up for the challenge . The exact opposite to a lattrell . He’s just not an idiot . So he’s asking the right questions IMO.

I’ve just watched you call 3 people soft and weak , these past few days alone .And the only people who ever do that to random strangers are themselves inferior . But good luck to you . Make your point without being dickhead . Everyone has a right to an opinion . Even dopes like you .
And for what it’s worth . I don’t give a shit about the coaching team . I’ve just come out of Potter ball , Taylor ball , a brief bit of hope in Cleary , and now the end of Madge ball . Excuse me if I’m fine with rolling the dice with a random instead of the same old bullshit Merry go round . The same coaches just changing clubs . Because that’s what you want . The same bullshit .
You think your railings against repeating the same mistakes . But that’s exactly what your doing if you hire Morris , Flanagan , Green , or whichever assistant that failed as a head coach previously . I actually wanted Wolfe . He seemed like something outside the box . Or even the walker brothers for randomness .
But we took a different risk . And I’m ok with it . I wanted a risk taken. Because what could we possibly lose .
But keep calling people soft and whatever like a baby throwing the toys out the cot .
