Just like to add that no contract should be broken and both player and the clubs involved ( club letting go and club receiving ) should be penalised if a contract is not fulfilled . I see just a big problem of what the dogs are doing (formerly Penrith ) under Gould in forcing players out and letting go of players early . To me this is just as big problem as players agitating to leave .
But my post is just in relation to point 1.
Would that contract be valid if certain assurances were made even if not written into contracts .
I can see one day someone challenging a contract they signed a year or two out before starting it .
For instance If they sold it as a experienced coaching set up and then say we are going to have a first timer coach could than not be grounds to make a contract invalid .
Just return to old June 30 deadline and these contract messes would cease
