Brooks' defence is overrated.

He's in a position which requires game management, footballing smarts and a good kicking game, at a minimum.

He lacks in all of these areas.

Ben Hunt - has attempted 6660 tackles in his career (36% games at Hooker) and has a miss rate of 14% (5% less than Brooks, at halfback his miss rate is at 13.5%)


Now one to really compare Brooks with was a halfback known to be weak in defence who has actually made more tackles but missed less Mitch Moses - attempted 3809, missed 687 - 18% miss rate
