He has a decent pass and strong carry. But would think would be a bit slow for FB.
I'd experiment at centre.
Failing at some of the basics of wing atm..

It’s a bit of a red flag if you’re getting to this point of the year and you are still unsigned. Unless there is a bidding for you, which for him, I very much doubt.
How many does he have ?
This is just to keep IP happy.
Like when we brought Simpkin AND Hoffman down from QLD.
Or Latrell and Shaq....

Who are our good centres coming through
Besides Tupou as he could potentially be a great fullback
Some promising forwards coming through, but our halves and fullback are not first grade standard. We all know that the spine, 1 .6. 7 and 9 are critical. 9 is covered for 2023 , but Hastings, Douehie and Brooks will not take us forward. Forget the rose coloured glasses,we need to find better. But they are as rare as an honest politition.
Saukura, Ogden is around...
Talau,Toa.... Even Roberts.
As I said - There's guys that can fill those spots in ressies...
We need top liners.
Roberts, Toa, Tupou aren't top liners...
Junior has barely learned to speak in 20 years - He won't be an NRL fullback in this lifetime.

Feledy (Flegg) is joining us next season from Manly
Dotoi is a fast and exciting outside back, Australian schoolboy rep, that the club has denied a development pathway this year. He should be starring in Flegg every week right now.

We need a much better, franchise type FB like: Tedesco, T Trbojevic, Papenhuyzen, Ponga or Walsh.
But, the first thing first - we have to start from the foundation, we need to make sure we get to the opposition's 20m consistently!
So we need at least 3 aggressive, powerful props like: J Papalii, Haas, Jr Paulo, Saifiti, Fanua-Blake, Fisher-Harris etc.

I don’t see Tupou being a fullback, he doesn’t talk so can’t see him organizing defensive lines let alone being effective in attack. He also gets snapped when he runs straight so needs some size/muscle.
