You could say that about nearly all our players. Kelma actually had a crack yesterday. Maybe Tamou's 300th had something to do with it but no doubt all playees benefit when they can sense that their team mates are in the fight.

I agree I have not seen this team play that well all season, is it because we now seem to have some direction as far as coaching is concerned ? If they all played with that much heart and soul all season we wouldn't be on the bottom of the ladder now.....what's wrong with these blokes???

Nofo is influential?

I'd be happier with trading Nofo to Melbourne permanently. If Craig Bellamy can stop Nofo defending like Stevie Wonder than Craig Bellamy is a genius.

While Laurie played his best game in the NRL he's got to show he can do that week in week out. Why was he there in support yesterday and not once during the previous 16 weeks of the comp?!

Staines is ok, he'd be the fastest player at our club and that alone would get him a spot somewhere in the starting lineup. But at present he's a 350k sort of player. Same as Laurie really.

Just have to watch yesterday’s game to see how slow our backs are. Most struggle to keep up with our forwards. We need speed bigtime in the side.

I wouldn’t say no to Staines for the right price.

I just have that feeling both T'oa & Kepaoa have the potential to grow into very good centres. They just need some good tutelage in the pre-season.

Attack:
- They both have very good feet, decent speed & good passing (yes even Starford).
- If they can develop a bit more leg power in the gym, they will be very good tacklebreakers.
- Also need to learn to stay alive in the play when a break is made inside or outside of them to support that player (especially Starford gets caught way behind breaks).

Defence:
- None of this stupid running up out of the line when the attacking team spreads leaving a hole inside. Both guilty of it yesterday both leading to tries.
- They can produce good 1-on-1 tackles and other times stepped easily. A big pre-season working on their agility, strength and tackling technique.
- Good defensive backrowers will help too (not Tualagi).

Apart from talent, that's the difference between the top teams and us. They have a crack every week.

As much as I hate to say it teams like Manly don't have a team filled with origin players but they have a crack every week.

Throw in Junior Tupou and Naden and our centre stocks don't look too bad. Probably want to grab another first grade standard centre before 2023 if possible.

Yeah he didn't sound too sure. A lot of "We would love for him to be here". Club just needs to stick strong on this one. He signed a contract and we made recruitment decisions based on this.

Benji did seem very excited about Api being here in 2023!
