Some discussions have developed today that might see Nathan Brown join effective immediately.

Charlie Staines has also now been given official permission from Panthers to discuss with others for 2023, offer from the club imminent.

Doueihi 1st cab off the rank in relation to re-signing, very positive discussions this week, 3 year deal being discussed taking him to 2026.

Brown improves our roster hands down, sure he might be busted but he is a NRL player unlike alot of players we have atm in the side.

Staines also improves our roster, a few bag him from last years performances but this year he has improved alot and is actually younger than most of our current NRL backline players also. Think he has a few things to offer.

Hope we give Nu Brown a contract he is a very good player and I watched his interview and he seems a smart young man with plenty of pride in himself , speaks very highly of his late mum hope he has a blinder this round for her

If we re-sign him, I can see him being our 14 to start the year. Rua might apply pressure later in the season, but he will really just need to get game time under his belt after this injury.

Again some people, backing Hastings, a guy kicked out of how many clubs now? What 3 clubs!! Again what was he kicked out for? Destabilising, poor culture and a bad influence. What’s the saying, a leopard never changes it’s spots.
Over a 10 year club veteran, highest try scorer for the club.
Look I have nothing personally against Hastings but I am also not ignorant to his past like some.
I love the batterboys quote from sheens ‘oh yeah we have a role for you Hastings here’, not exactly really endorsing is it, I know if my boss said that about me, I’d be worried.
