breath of fresh air in that position, love or hate brooks there should be some realization that it's been like 7 years, it's.just.not.working

last time I looked last year Brooks was just about best on field,

Madden needs to teach Brooks how to throw a short ball. He has that slight of hand and touch of class that, unfortunately, Brooks has never had.

He is a little guy. He will always be a target. Reynolds is a great player but he is a target as well.

The first try was all Madden. It was great ball playing the way he condensed the line then passed wide.

It will take time with Jock. There will be some ups and downs, but I see our own Adam Reynolds in him

That was our 2nd try. Also very good play from Madden. That try unfolded so well. Hastings went at the line at speed, condensed it then shot it to Madden who squared up nice for Kelma who did a great job running that line.

Madden reads the game better than Brooks, but Brooks is a better defender.I for one think it’s time Brooks moved on….give Madden and Hastings the job to battle out the #7 role

There’s not much between Brooks’ and Madden’s play IMO. But there is a big difference in their price tag. You are probably paying Madden $300k to $500k less than Brooks per year on Madden’s next contract. That extra money would be very useful for building the roster elsewhere.
