Well said, honest stupid me forgot that. He'll be back well and truly by round 1 2023. Laurie broke his leg at almost this exact time last year and was back with plenty of time to play in the trials.

Just like Gus he has no right telling another’s club’s players what they should do , just another leftie wanting to get his face on tv 📺Possibly becvause that was a one-off whereas Gould is starting to make a habit of it.
Of course it wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact he was asked the question in a press conference, or because they were playing Manly that week.Just like Gus he has no right telling another’s club’s players what they should do , just another leftie wanting to get his face on tv 📺

Did you actually hear his comments on the matter?Possibly becvause that was a one-off whereas Gould is starting to make a habit of it.
Thanks Mrs Gould.Did you actually hear his comments on the matter?
All he said was that there is likely more to the story as players regularly don't want to come off the field.
Then refused to speculate about what the 'more' could be.
Hardly sticking his nose into the Knights affairs.
not at the expense of BrooksThere will be plenty of buyers after the next few weeks.
I really hope we retain him

I think the medical experts may have said 4 to 5 months which makes it sometime in January if that is correct. I think even though Laurie was back on the park for the trials it has taken a while for him to get back his confidence and form. He'll be back well and truly by round 1 2023. I think it's hilarious you kids talking shit about Brooks. You wouldn't say this shit to him irl. He's jacked. Not only that, but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. Y'all are pathetic lol.Brooks' 2018 (I think you mean 2018) form is still not nearly worth $750k. It's the biggest myth in football.
We came 9th and scored the second least points in the league apart from wooden spooners Parra. They won 6 games and score 374 pts. We scored 377.
He was average that year. He got a bunch of Dally M points he didn't deserve. We won close games in fluky ways and we were among the worst teams in the comp that year and our attack for most of the year was quite pitiful - in large part due to Brooks' impotence. He has been reserve grade standard for the majority of his career and his career highlight was a season where he was generously, maybe the 7th or 8th best halfback in the league.
He is simply not worth remotely close to 750k. 300k to be a backup half and potentially play some 14? Good with me. But 3 years at 750k a year is a deadset joke for a guy who would struggle to make first grade at any other team in the comp and most certainly not for any team that has a serious desire to play finals footy.
nothing Wrong with the approach if results go his way. We lose and continue to do so how many clubs including ours will see him as a first grade 7?Nothing wrong with that approach....he doesn't have to rush to sign...he holds all the cards..Madden will get what he wants, to play regular first grade, in 2023, either here or with another club...
To answer your first question, yes.Is Brooks even better than Nu Brown at this point? We don't need him as a contingency for Hastings' injury - he's expendable at this point.
Postponed until after the meeting with the NRL today, after which we get to pick who ever we want to make up our 30 man roster.🤣Wasn't the club meant to complete the 30 man roster on Monday?
I thought someone said they would update the full team Yesterday but still unknown.
Anyone know what the delay is
Yeah, having trouble dubbing in the Benny Hill music. It can take months to edit sound audio 🤔
Exactly. The way he publicly told Ciraldo not to sign with us was disgraceful.Gus needs to remember he’s the employee of an NRL club. This constant sniping and criticism of how other clubs manage their affairs is unprofessional. If he wants to be a pundit he should go back to being a full time commentator.
Exactly.N
Not to put a damper on matters, but Hastings has significant rehabilitation ahead of him.
CC unknowingly played this stupidly. What a SuperCoach . When he finally gets his chance he BETTER PRODUCE. If he fails, blame Cleary for the ADVICE.Exactly. The way he publicly told Ciraldo not to sign with us was disgraceful.
Maybe he can convince him not to come.We should straight swap Klemmer with Brooks, similar contract values & same contract length... done and dusted.
Woods and Klemmer meant to be great mates from NSW days... maybe he can make Woods better again...??
Plus please sign Madden!
Very few halves around, people keep comparing a promising kid to DCE (10yrs experience) Kronk (best Storm team ever) Cleary (best side in the last 2 yrs) .Hastings may not come back as good as he has been, Brooks is cooked, AD is no world beater , why would you not tie up a promising half who is improving with each game?Given Hastings's injury, it might be unwise to move Brooks on before establishing for certain how long he will be out for. If this is the path Sheens and his coaches take they will need to find a suitable half-back as a replacement as I don't think Madden has put a case forward yet to take on that role without Brooks or Hastings in the side.
