**Live game thread** us vs the Knights r21

I totally agree. I'm over all the BS excuses.
Me too. Sick of all the promising players we have coming thru.
This season is another one down the toilet.
Would roosters/Storm be this shit for so long?
There's our model right there

For anyone interested Stryker was recently on another forum where he bagged out all the posters on this site (called us sycophant cockbreaths) and said he gets his rocks off trolling and bullying.
I have no problem calling out bullies.

People have got off lightly

@stryker 69 has called me a lot worse than that over the years.

For anyone interested, we didn’t talk for 6 months over Paul Vaughn, Bbq gate and the suspensions dished out.

That was a matter of grave concern for both parties. Still cuts deep, unfinished business.

But travelling along seperate tracks, we appear to be heading in the same direction.

My take is that the problem with promising players is teams haven't worked you out when you initially come through but they soon do. You have to be able to execute when teams know the plays you will go for.

Doueihi for instance is great running of a scrum but Newcastle picked him up today.

What do you do though ? I suppose that is why I think we are at a critical time now. We need to make the right recruitment and retention decisions.

I hope Sheens and co don't stuff it.

Yeh agree.
We also can't seem to adapt or change gameplans on the fly if it's not working. We will keep doing the same dumb thing, over and over.

Agreed which to me comes down to our spine. We just don't seem to have the players in key positions that have footy smarts.

Please keep that language to the other gutter forums you slum in. It’s not wanted or welcomed here. Pure filth and you should be ashamed of yourself. What if a little cockbreath was reading the forum? Think of the children.

Who are you?
Never seen you about

He needs to step up.
For so long we've heard it's brooksy team. With Luke and jacko out he needs to show he can man up.
Otherwise he can **** off too.
Sick of these pretend footballers.
Today looked like we were out there instead of professionals.
If I was sheens I'd be telling them to earn their keep

Both teams were ordinary today, the difference was that Knights worked harder than Tigers in defence, all match really, and despite gifting us a tonne of possession, we were bad and they were good enough to shut that bad down.

Plenty of opportunities to ice the match and Tigers could not put together two decent sets of 6.

The only saving grace is this match has tempered the "sack Brooks, sign Madden as our starting half" nonsense that was being bandied about last week. Fair enough Brooks has had 10x the matches that Madden has, but I still think Madden is bitterly short of consistency and reliability in organising the attack.
