There is no issue here. He has signed a binding contract with WT for 2023 and beyond. If WT want him to honour that contract and therefore recieve the salary payable under that contract, then they need do nothing more. If he doesn't show up for pre season when required then sue him fro breach of contract. Under no circumstances can IP play with Parramatta in 2023. He does NOT have a playing contract with Parramatta. He can NOT be approached by Parramatta to play with them while he is under contract with WT. So he will NOT be granted a release from contract under any circumstances and especially NOT to return to play with Parramatta.
