David Nofoaluma #164

Not unhappy with that outcome. We would get more value out of a team-first player. We need to make prima donna's a thing of the past if we are to climb out of the cellar. Can't wait for Api to get here, he seems to have a great mindset🔥.
Yet u would love to have an addo carr as your winger who is a massive Prima Donna! I watch him play and every game he carries on like a pork chop after scoring. Yet without speed addo carr is a below average winger. Nofa has heaps more skill as a player than he does, he doesn’t rely on speed as his one trick pony. Funny how he hasn’t let in one try since being at Melbourne yet. We are crying out for players with an above average skill set, yet u would rather have a team of average joes! I don’t get it…

The amount of commentary on a winger whos currently on loan to another club is incredible . We also lent out Gildardt - no comments ,We gave cowboys Lucy and no comment . The ones that quote exactly what he is thinking amuse me with amazing ability to read other peoples minds .So many but not all wishing he fails just incredible!

I agree, though may I suggest that you look in the mirror regarding your comments on Luke Brooks and consider both.

I haven't watched any of Nofoaluma since he left, though I do remember the above-mentioned pair of juniors combining in putting a couple of tries together against Parramatta, in what may prove to be their last game alongside each other.

I don't know what the issues are, but I support any local junior with the ability to play in the top grade being there at WT over another. Good luck to David, though I cannot cheer for the storm under any circumstances.

You can't blame Nofa for enjoying playing in a successful organisaton having endured as a player what we have all as fans - there is a reason we are all bitter. It will be interesting to see if they become as enamoured with him, as he has become so quickly with them.

I may well be wrong @Telltails .....but I have a feeling we are going to see a BIG change in Noffoa's attitude, for the better that is, now he is in the winning Storm environment.

I would love Addo Carr at WT? Best do your research mate, I have long stated that without his speed JAC is bog-average.
As far as Nofa not letting any tries in...he's played 2 games there, let's revisit that comment at seasons end👍. He got caught out a few times on Thurs night, Penrith mistakes and dropped balls stopped them from capitalising on the opportunities. He hasn't turned into a great defender all of a sudden😂

There is no comment on Gildart or Luciano probably because they aren't mouthing off in the media about how much they love their new team and how they have "fallen back in love with footy" at their new gigs.
He's throwing crap at WT, agitating for a release by the sounds. My god I hope he gets it🙏. Sounds like he will😀.

I'd love us to have a bog average winger like him. Scored 15 tries or something like that this year and he went tryless in his first six games.

Quite a few intercepts in amongst it. Which yes, is a part of a wingers job but I've seen a lot of the Dogs games and he offers not much in the way of dirty hit-ups, he gets pushed backwards more often than not. Average under the high ball and defensively. Don't really rate him much TBH. Big Ken will star next year if he gets his bung knee close to 100% in the offseason. Hopefully Tupou can really step up next year in (fingers crossed) Nofa's absence.

For those who remember we used to have our own Addo Carr.
He never featured on line breaks or tackle counts or bomb diffusions.
But he had speed to burn and that’s all we wanted. And he scored lots of tries, and eventually became a Kangaroo
His name ….. Larry Corowa.
Sometimes speed is all you need !

Kaola, and Tupou are better and younger, so Mr “I always kiss the emblem, and play poor defence” can join the Swindlers or Pawha!

Happy for David. Met him a few years ago at Ryde (mentioned it a few times on here) and he is a really nice kid. Wish him all the best. Hope he comes back but!

I actually think we should've let Douhei go to get some finals exp too (i know i may get shot down for this in the forum) lol

I know champ as I stated (yet), but watching the games he has much better defenders inside him. Hence no try’s, which will most likely get better once he gets used to trusting his inside players, which could never happen here. My point is people like u look at the black side of things, rather than looking at the bigger picture. I am not saying he is the best defender in the world, he’s just not as bad as you lot put out there!
Addo carr was the same but got better as a defender, when he knew he could trust the players inside him.

True to a certain extent hence addo carr , but in the modern game u generally need a few more skills.
