I understand that this has been a battling club since 2011 and we all have unfortunately been on this frustrating and emotional rollercoaster just waiting to have a little bit of success.

Realistically, when you look at our roster we’re a wooden spoon team…. especially this year with arguably our best players missing majority of the season in Stefano, Hastings, Brooks and AD.

We were outclassed yesterday and unfortunately it won’t be the last time this year that’ll happen, our squad isn’t good enough and the players don’t deserve the continued bashing imo as the effort is there they just aren’t good enough skill wise…. unfortunately we don’t have anyone close to Cleary/Yeo, Munster, Hynes, Latrell, Turbo, Ponga, Tamoulolo, Moses, Burton, Tedesco, Hass/Reynolds, Wighton/Papalili, Hunt/Lomax, Fifita/Tino, AFB/Walsh/Harris.

15 other NRL teams evidently have a better squad than us… I’d trade our squad this season for anyone else’s easily especially with the lack of cohesion that Brooks, Hastings and AD have had due to injuries would love to know a stat of how many games they’ve played together this season

Reading a lot of Sheens slander lately and I don’t get it, we’re all angry and want to point the finger at someone I get it but 2022 was always gonna be a ride off

Next year imo everything changes, Sheens/Benji/Robbie get a full preseason with Hastings, Doueihi, Laurie and Brooks with a new shift and desperate need of change…. plus the incoming acquisitions of Papalili and Api with potentially more coming before the start of the season

Our young kids all get another pre season under there belt in Joffa (26), Twal (26) Stefano, Pole, Blore, O’kane, Tumeth, Simpkin, Rua ngatikaura and more

2023 is the year to evaluate and judge who’s got what it takes to put the jersey on, personally I think we’re 1-2 good signings away from being a finals team everyone take a deep breathe and be realistic with the squad we currently have and have faith in the new coaching staff next year to be start of a change.

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel

There is the usual déjà vu feeling I get when I read these kind if threads...Usually the enthusiasm last the first 3-4 games, before we turn the page. Year on year, since 2005.
On the balance of what I've seen in the last 15-odd years, apart from the roster, the mindset of the club itself has to become FAR more professional; we manage our salary cap; we look after our juniors; and we have a 3-5 year plan that we stick to. So not just a roster change, the whole joint needs to grow.
For mine, it is more realistic to hope to see a slow improvement from bottom of the table, to mid table and then possibly the eight. But it is going to take a lot of change. On and off the field. That's why I don't expect anything, anymore, I just accept it for what it is (or will be).

Hahahahaha….yeah thanks for the laugh

This year is always a 'write' off according to some.

Just more excuses

Other teams compete year after year.. We think of excuses

You know... You could see it in THE VERY FIRST Set yesterday... Sharks strolled. 70m...some.of.our blokes waited more than half an hour to have a run... There is no desire or heart or hunger and when you run out you make a statement.... The only statement we made yesterday at kick off was "here's 2 points sharks.. All yours"

This doesn't surprise me one bit. That so many on this forum bought into the Maguire bs and are so quick to turn on those who now have to clean up his mess. I'm sure Sheens has recruitment ongoing behind the scenes and with Marshall and Farah onboard WTs are in great hands. The official opening of the COE tomorrow will give WTs a nice boost.

Peoples opinions here either way have nothing to do with how we suck as a club

You live in fantasy world if you think sheens will turn this around.
He’s already thrown Noddy under the bus

I’d just like us to finish THIS season with a bang, not a whimper. Maybe try and impress the incoming coaches and loyal FANS.
