Let’s be realistic

We sacked Maguire to get Ciraldo offered him 5 years and state of the art centre of excellence and opportunity to develop our potential untapped talent and he turned us down and extended his contract as an assistant coach with Penrith. Seven weeks later he accepts a five year job with the Bulldogs and our coach is the man who was trying to hire him - after no other suitable candidates. Anyone who still thinks our problem stems around Maguire is delusional.

The mess (which you were a rabid support of) is being cleared up. It takes time.
Now you're sounding like the last coach.
Stop gnawing on the bone. He's gone - you like it others don't.
The future will tell us who was right and who was wrong. Even though I didn't think it was the right move, I hope I'm proven wrong because all I want to see is the club winning some games.

What didn't you think was the right move? Replacing Maguire?

I'm not biting - I've said it all before if you want to read it. The past is the past.

😂
The title of the thread is misleading????
We have gone only 3 seasons winning more games than we lost.
We couldn’t get Ciraldo because so called knowledgeable people in the game reckon we’re a basket case and Ciraldo saw through the sales pitch.
We sacked a perfectly good coach because the team weren’t winning enough games at 3-9. Throw in Noddy who has us at 1-8 and telling us the players are in a world of pain because they can’t win games. WT actual F???
We need to get our shit together and start looking like an NRL team!!!!

From the outside it looked like Madge had a falling out with the club’s “power brokers “ Hagipantelis and Pascoe. The reasons given for his sacking made us look like the basket case we were portrayed as in the msm.
It’s a numbers game, and we need to clear a parking space near the sheds in case Ciraldo wants the job.
One thing the club is lacking is honesty, accountability and clarity in decision making. The fans see it, the players see it. And soon we’ll be looking at the spoon, our first spoon in the club’s history.

I'm not censoring anyone. And I choose not to 'discuss' something that's dead and buried. If you choose exhume a dead horse that's your choice.

All clubs have politics but no one is buying what we are selling. Sheens Benji Farah all have great intentions no doubt but winning on the field is the only thing that will change the perception of this club and that centres around a strong roster which we consistently can't build while other clubs can.

We sacked Madge because he couldn't do anything for us. He'd had enough time to at least show improvement.
We've replaced him with an old head who's no longer on the tools and his young padowan.
We're in good hands🤣

We sack Madge for obvious reasons, he just not good enough, he wasn’t sacked to get Ciraldo.

Unlike Newtown Jets and North Sydney Bears we still have a team to support.

Besides which others have beautifully articulated I have nothing.

Professional sports are all about results on the field and that is where the problem is.

A vicious circle WT can not seem to find a way out of each season.

I think we need to show the other signs of improvement before we start winning consistently, then we can get a strong roster.
Winning isn’t the only thing. The will to win is.
Apologies to Lombardi.
