With this win, the boys are finals bound! A win next week against Dragons means we will finish in 3rd (get a 2nd chance). A loss will see us drop to 5th and in an elimination final.

Hopefully they keep the likes of Matamua here to finish the season. No benefit playing them in NSW Cup or NRL this year IMO.

Well done to Jersey Flegg boys beating equal leaders Rorters 24 - 22 placing them outright 3rd in the comp on 30 points 4 points behind equal leaders Rorters & Knights on 34 and 2 points clear of 4th & 5th

I think it's a mix.
Some are still eligible for SG and been promoted to flegg and there'd be some 21 year olds too.
Flegg has been stock piled this year to create a winning culture while nsw cup and first grade have been left to rot.
Well documented theb 15-16 year olds in harrold mats won the comp with wests and balmain did good too.
Both balamain and wests did well at SG ball too.

Their old enough for NRL and should figure in the top 30 next year in good position to take Jersey Flegg out this year and with the Harold Matts victory this year things are looking up

Probably but Tim Sherns has stated they have identified the ones they want to keep going forward and as we all know we can't keep them all

Flying the flag in true style, defeating the likely minor premiers twice this year while also losing to last and second last.
Very talented WT squad but still deserve a lot of credit for making the finals. They’ve used 40 players this year with a stack of u19s players used as well as 15 players featuring in NSW Cup and /or NRL throughout the season.

Email the nswrl and complain that their product offerings isn't good enough. they should be streaming all NSW cup and Flegg games that aren't televised. The QRL does this. It's not expensive, they just don't care enough to stream more than one or two games a weekend. If they know the demand is there they'll do more... I encourage everyone to complain...

Did this last week via the NSWRL website contact section. Made the QRL comparison in which they have access to all state wide competitions too. Need more people to do the same.

The team defeated one of the two leading teams in the competition. As we know with the Roosters, their players are purchased from all over Qld, NSW, NZ and any other place they can find a junior. With Sheens we know he can nuture young talent and when to introduce players into the NRL.

You have no idea Penrith were in a similar position a few years back they had a good group of young players who are now the mainstay of the first grade squad first grade players come via a strong junior pathways systems which the WT'S have been got their act together and have a very good pathways system in place.
