Season from hell. Noddy makes Madge look like Wayne Bennett. Pauga is a moron - he’s got to be on the never again list. That’s at least three games we found a way to lose an unloseable game (Titans, Cows, Dragons) not even looking at the games we should have won but didn’t.

Hopefully our luck turns next year.

It will if we make it so.
What’s the old saying “ the harder you work the luckier you’ll get”
Which brings me back to my old favourite KPIs.
Hopefully Tim can resolve that, through experience alone.

Bringing in a debutante in the dying pressure filled minutes of a game is on the coach.

You bring the enthusiasm of youth on much earlier, and especially so when the side is obviously suffering from a lack of possession. Not with minimal minutes remaining and pressure rising.

The poor guy should have had a debut to remember, instead it’s probably one he’ll want to forget. He should have been brought on while we were on top.

I think Kapoa can be a good player if he worked on his game, away from first grade - but OMG that surrender was one of the dumbest things I've seen, and I've seen plenty of dumb from this team.

Coz I don’t think we spend the time in that area.
It’s more working out intricate and highly unsuccessful plays !
Or practicing high kicks with little variation, like maybe kicking low to the corners and building pressure.
There is a place for both ! It really doesn’t have to be so one dimensional. And yes I know other, successful teams do it but a bit of heads up footy never goes astray.

Hal I don’t think we have to spend lotsa time in this area , these are the top level performers of our game and basic schoolboy errors like not being able to catch a pass is pretty poor mate

AD looked a totally different player today.

Best on field for us.
He is a true captain.

Shame the majority of the team are out of their depth.

I disagree mate. Now i have to preface this with the fact I didn't watch this week.

But, a captain is not a "will turn up this week but not for the next 4 type of role"

Its somebody that turns up every week no matter what they feel personally and lead from the front.
Unfortunately that has not been AD so far.

Honestly I think we sign players because we have to sign 29-30 blokes and it will be embarrassing for management if we don’t have enough. No actual talent required to play for WT.

I didn't watch the game but rather checked the forum for the results - and probably came on only about five times - but as soon as I read this I honestly knew we were doomed.
It took me back to the Ash Barry Wimbledon match when Happy would post something positive about her and she'd go on and lose the set.

So I blame you @Demps 😂

Yeah couldn't believe it when I read that. The story about his path to the NRL was a real feel good story and I liked that he got rewarded for his efforts.
His family should be proud of him regardless.

Didn’t watch the game, just looked at highlights aka lowlights. Silly mistakes cost us dearly. Today was proof that you can never underestimate the ability of Wests Tigers to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.
