But then again, not exactly sure of the standard of Canberra street fighters .

To be fair in 2020 as defence coach the Knights finished 7th on the ladder and let in 374 points in 20 rounds. This year they are 14th and let in 522 points by Round 20 the worst in the comp at that point and on 624 from 23 games.

Dogs were at 504 points and last in 2020 for defence (20 rounds) and this year after 20 rounds and only 427 points let in (11th in defence). His record as defensive coach seems to be one of improvement. He was also assistant at Cowboys when they won the comp in 2015.

I’m actually ok with him coming we need experience around Benji & Robbie.

Watched the interview with Adam on Tigers site , they ask him about his contract and I don’t think he was happy about it , said he’s got nothing to do with it leaving It to his manager , I think he will sign else where and head for early depart in Off-season , need another player signed I think as he won’t stay

They need more than just Sheens to learn the ropes in the next 2yrs. Furner will come in and focus on defensive side which we need.

Furner has been successful & just as unsuccessful as well. Been assistant for ages but also head coach stint. Think he is a good fit and one that actually makes sense.

AD reckons he is a 5/8, wants good $$$. We signed him on good $$$ for 4 years. He was to slow for fullback, he isn’t a centre, his kicking game, passing and tackling for a 6 is very questionable. It takes him half a game to finally start injecting himself on the game.

It is fast looking like we will be in a worse situation next year than we have ever been in before.

I doubt we would let him go a season early unless it was to our advantage.

24 is different but alot of halfs are on the market so lets see what comes of it.
