Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

No good harping on about Brooks , he will be here next year we just gotta live with it
If he is still with us next season .. no other club will want to offer him a gig after next season .. he's 27 now 28 in Dec .. another contract with us will see him out to 29 / 30 years of age .. he'll go down in the history books as the "half back who failed to take us to the finals" .. if i was him, i'd leave now .. !!

Can you imagine AD at Fullback, everytime a player on the other side makes a break a try is on, his defence is terrible.

DL's defence far better.
I really feel AD better at centre or wing.

And out there near the sideline, he has help.

The sideline itself.
Big man grab opponent push over the line. ????
For his size his defence is Terrible.

The exception of George Williams for Canberra

He was a very good half
Yeah he was alright but he’s been terrible and I mean terrible this year, his team is stacked and were expected to fight for the title and instead they weren’t far off relegation

Could have insisted that the tapes of the conversation between on field ref and bunker be made public
This would have been pointless as there would be nothing there out of the ordinary. Just the bunker confirming they had a challenge left - which is part of his job. Trust me in game conversations between match officials are very boring there is no smoking gun.

Looking at what we have .. or might have for next season. Switch the players around to where you might think suits our side:

1. Laurie
2. Nofa / Tupou
3. Talau / Kepaoa
4. To'a / Naden
5. Maumalo
6. Doueihi
7. Hastings / Brooks
8. Utoikamanu / Twal
9. Koroisau / Ngatikaura
10. Ofahengaue / Pole
11. Papailii
12. Blore
13. Nu Brown

Then we have some:
some POMS ??
Saukuru
Matamua
Kautoga
Freebairn
Dias
Ma'anaima
and any other players we might be lucky to sign up..??

The day Lee and Justin are gone, will be the day the tigers come back into the light. Until then, we’re stuck in the shit.

That's nice, replace with who?

You do realise the board who you also want gone pick the new ceo and chair.

Who's says who they pick is better?

Just my thoughts …..

Laurie will have competition from Stains or if not Stains some other decent fullback recruit. So time will tell.
I think Naden to centre & perhaps Doueihi (not my answer at 5/8) to partner.
Brooks and Hastings are my half pairing.
Blore has had almost two seasons injured so jury is out on him and same with Talau.
Nu Brown decent roster backup but not a starter. Same with To’a and Kepaoa.

I see munchie has been released by the warriors, he is no super star but gee he try’s his heart out every week he would be a great signing , hits the line hard and is a very good defender
Plodder quota reached

Bit of a left field but worth a little punt on, Tremayne Spry, played a few games for titans, solid big body centre who’s definitely got talent about him, could be worth a train and trial, he’s only 22, I’m sure he’d be offered a train and trial elsewhere, he’s been good in his return in q cup for tweed after nearly dying from a king hit

Yep, his hit on Moga showed great strength - sadly it destroyed him for the rest of the game.

To what ends do fans think they have the right to an open book - It does my head in....

He's the chair of our football club
- Anything of that nature is the property of the organisation our club is licenced to.
In what world is he in any position to demand anything?

Be like me "demanding" my boss show me his bank balance or nude photos of his missus.....

Some people live in some alternate fantasy land around here I swear....
Of course we have the right to an open book......its called transparency. The Tigers are part of what makes up the NRL product & the example of of Employer / employee is so misdirected its laughable, even you cant be that daft to believe your own BS .The only fantasy land you are living is that all Tigers supporters are as lily livered as you. Have a cup of tea with your front office idol, you have plenty in common.
