No, I've been married for 50 years next February so haven't needed to take my own advice, not that I'd recommend it.
I kind of agree with you re Munster. It wouldn't make sense without a strong forward pack which we are still two or three players short on. But, I don't want WT to be going around like a bunch of lepers, afraid to negotiate with the really good players because of our mediocrity. Let's be bold and accept a few no's along the way because one day the answer will be yes (back to my dating advice again).

So what did Munster say to Marshall about the possibility of a partnership?


“I said ‘look mate, I’ll have a think about it’. It wasn’t like I said ‘show me the money’.”


Despite some of the big numbers being bandied about regarding his future, Munster says that money isn’t motivating his decision whatsoever. With a young family and a partner who is also from Queensland, he says their future is now his primary concern.


“(This decision) will be about where I can play my best footy and doing what is best for my family. That’s all it is. It’s not about money.”


“It’s about what my partner wants, it’s not about me anymore. It’s about helping her out if do want to have more kids. We’re weighing up the best fit for myself, but as a family as well.”


“I’ve put everything on the backburner at the moment. The last couple of weeks have been pretty heated negotiation-wise. I felt like it crept into my game a little bit.”

Who said they were good - the argument was as to whether the board is giving 100% towards Wests Tigers and only a person who continually whines about the " love of mediocrity " would suggest that they dont. If you said yea i agree they think they are doing whats best for the club but in my opinion they have stuffed up then thats fine. No need to do that - i find most contributors on here pretty passionate and like reading most comments. Its the constant board bashing that is totally futile that i find boring. If there was an avenue to change the board i would be all in as i think they have been pretty useless. But there is no avenue and whingeing on here every second post about sacking the board isn't going to change a thing.

Sounds like those two have a good relationship tho.

That applies to anything on here though. Posting about a player/coach to sign or get sacked won't change anything either.

But listening to Munster speak this morning .. clearly saying his family are all back in Brisbane and they are his priority right now .. meaning .. im going to Brisbane and joining the Redcliffe Dolphins .. there are already 3 or 4 other Melbourne Storm players signed by the Dolphins so makes sense to join them.
