That rule was bought in to stop team’s nullifying the fullback from way out, it’s ruined the tactic of trying to get the ball back via drop outs. I reckon if your inside the opposite 20 and the ball goes dead from a grubber it should only be 6 tackle restart. We should promote attack not penalise it.That tactic became less popular with the 7 tackle set. Teams go high and try to land the ball on the try line now.
